STAINED SHEETS, UNFRIENDLY, AND OVERCHARGED
I booked a room on this Gasthaus while on the road from Italy returning to the Netherlands. It was conveniently halfway.
As we arrived, we had difficulty finding the entrance, as it is their two restaurants. They finally told us to go to the parking lot, which was full. So my husband unloaded the two suitcases and I rolled them in through the back yard, only to find that the reception was a stair flight up. So I checked in, asked where we could park, because it was full, and what yo do with the suitcases. Well, I had to bring them to even one more floor up. Not very easy! Regarding parking, to go to a park house nearby or at the Sparkasse.
The room was steaming hot, and they only had a tiny plastic ventilator, which was barely of help.
Next morning, as we got up, we noticed the sheets had some purple reddish stains. They had been washed, but the stains were really strange, and honestly that is subpar for any accomodation.
As I checked out, I showed them a picture. First, they tried to tell me I did it. I told them no way. Then they looked again, and said it was probably from flowers (which we didn't bring!). Not an apology, not a concern. Apparently that is ok for them to have stained sheets.
As we leave, I noticed the woman had charged us €9 for parking. For the price of this Gasthaus, it is way overpriced and a terrible experience.

Such a nice hotel, very good. The breakfast was plenty and the restaurant served a good dinner. Clean and the toilet and shower aesy to access. No elevator.
A bit hard to find the parking. Ask at the reception.

We stayed here for 3 nights in October 2022. The 1st night we stayed in the detached building that had additional guest rooms. The bed was a double bed. The furniture, curtains, and flooring are very dated. The bathroom was OK. However, we had zero hot water. The hotel had us switch rooms ro the original building so we could have a room that had hot water. We enjoyed the 2nd room better. We had two small twin beds. The room was cute, it reminded me of Hansel and Gretel. The bathroom was small, and if you are a large person there is no way you could have fit into the corner shower. We did not have breakfast at the hotel because the front desk told us that another employee had told them we decided against breakfast. We did not tell the staff that we were canceling breakfast. We ended up going a block away to the local bakery and getting a coffee and a roll. The evening noise around the was very noticeable and disturbed our sleep. Overall, the hotel was OK - not great. It was clean. We did ask for compensation since we were not able to shower in our original room and had to switch rooms to the other building. Had we not asked for compensation, it would have not been offered.

Hatte ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett gebucht und bezahlt und kommentarlos nur ein kleines Zimmer mit Einzelbett erhalten. Das eigentlich zwar geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer lag direkt an der vielbefahrenen Straße und die Fenster waren nicht gut schallosoliert. Auch das Frühstück ist eher ist eher Mittelmaß mit dem üblichen Scheibenkäse etc. Leider blieb das Hotel unter meinen Erwartungen. Schade.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier leider gar nicht. Die Zimmer sind in den 90er Jahren hängen geblieben und das Frühstück ist unter dem Standard. Das schlimmste an unserem Aufenthalt und der Grund dafür, dass ich nur 1 Stern gebe, ist der Oberkellner (der aussieht wie die frustrierte Version von Nils Holgersson). Ich habe noch nie so eine unmögliche und unfreundliche Person erlebt. Die Unart des Kellners ist der gesamten Hochzeitsgesellschaft negativ aufgefallen. So eine Person sollte nicht im Gastronomiebereich arbeiten. Alles in allem keine Empfehlung für das Hotel aber eine Empfehlung an den Oberkellner sich beruflich umzuorientieren. Vielleicht was auf dem Bauernhof, mit Gänsen. Hauptsache nichts mit Menschen... Bei schlechten Bewertungen, drohen die Betreiber Google sogar mit rechtlichen Schritten wenn diese die Rezension nicht löschen. Das sagt schon alles. Keine Empfehlung!

Ich hatte ein altes Zimmer , mit Einzelbett und älterer Einrichtung, leider mag ich das nicht. Kirche Sonntags läutet ab 630h. Um 70h dann ca. 5Min.

Das kleine Hotel liegt an zwei lauten Straßen mit entsprechenden Nachtverkehre. DIe Zimmer sind zur Straße, in einem Nebengebäude, allerdings gut eingerichtet; die Parkplätze am Haus sind sehr, eng, max. 9 PKW's. Wir bevorzugen künftig wieder andere Häuser, die auch "normale" Restaurants besitzen....
