Mitten in der Altstadt von Weimar in einer recht ruhigen Nebenstraße. Schöner Eingangsbereich mit anschließendem Restaurant und Bar. Überdachter Außenbereich. Unser Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Eher gediegene Ausstattung. Das gesamte Hotel war sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Hotel bietet Parkmöglichkeiten (Tiefgarage und Außenstellplätze). Auf Nachfrage wurde uns empfohlen, den kostenfreien Parkplatz am Herrmann- Brill- Platz zu nutzen. Dieser ist zu Fuß etwa 7 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt. Das Frühstückbuffet war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Aufgrund des schönen Wetters konnten wir immer den Außenbereich nutzen. Das Anna Amalia ist zwar "nur" ein Drei- Sterne- Hotel, aber aufgrund des guten Service und der super Lage würden wir dem Hotel den 4. Stern verleihen.

Au coeur de Weimar, une bonne adresse!
Bon accueil, cordialité, efficacité et gentillesse, confort des chambres et siper petit déjeuner, avec un seul problème : le bruit du restaurant 1900 voisin alors que la fenêtre reste ouverte puisqu'il n'y a pas de climatisation. Demander une chambre qui donne ailleurs.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Anna Amalia und wussten, dass die Parkplatzsituation schlecht ist. Wir hatten vor sieben Monaten 5 Zimmer gebucht und um wenigstens einen Stellplatz gebeten. Es wurde verneint, wir könnten aber wieder nachfragen. Da auch ein Mitreisender schwerbehindert ist, hatten wir die Hoffnung, wenigstens er könne sein Auto im hoteleigenen Parkhaus einstellen. Wir bekamen die Auskunft, 7 Monate vorher reiche nicht, manche Gäste würden zwei Jahre vorher einen Parkplatz reservieren. Im Zimmer war es etwas staubig und eine Spinne seilte sich von der Decke herab. Von den Sesseln hingen Stofffetzen herab. Die Türen der Dusche ließen sich nur mühevoll öffnen. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und lecker. Die Lage zur Innenstadt ist optimal.

I was able to stay here for about $100, breakfast included. The room was very clean, although perhaps somewhat dated in style. There is still a little bit of the East German styling leftover here. But I was very pleased with the room and even more pleased with the breakfast. The food was fresh and a wide variety of traditional German breakfast foods was offered. The staff at the front desk and the dining room were kind and attentive. Overall, it was a great stay and an even better value!

Ich bin Wiederholungstäter!!! Es war wieder mal einfach perfekt. Das Zimmer sehr ruhig (#224), das Personal sehr freundlich und herzlich, das Frühstück hervorragend, abwechslungsreich und reichhaltig. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Das perfekte Stadthotel.

Als meine Freundin und ich unsere kleine Reise nach Weimar planten, sind wir irgendwann am Anna Amalia Hotel hängen geblieben. Es ist ein nettes, sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel. Unser (Nichtraucher) Zimmer war genau passend, sauber und groß genug. Auch unser Auto genoss die Zeit im Parkhaus und wir hätten es immer besuchen können. ;-) Das Frühstück war gut der Frühstücksraum hell und freundlich genauso wie auch das Personal. Freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Falls es mich nochmals nach Weimar führen sollte, kommt dieses Hotel auf alle Fälle wieder in die engere Wahl.
