We arrived late for our booking but on ringing the pub they were very accommodating and moved our reservation time. The staff were very friendly , the service was good and the food was excellent . Highly recommended.

Meeting up with friend to socialise and eat out. A beautiful day nice meal wasn't felt rushed to say we was doing it to do as a regular thing as we loved the time there staff fab too.

Stopped alongside grand union canal for lunch. Ordered baguettes which were delicious. Didn’t disappoint. Staff very friendly and service was good. Would recommend this pub restaurant for lunch and Would definitely come back again soon

I was welcomed by a charming young lady called Shania, very helpful and gave me extra towels. Very enjoyable food and welcoming staff overall. Friendly atmosphere and a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Heart of England to anyone passing through. Sally

Served by a young person who really didn't seem to want to be there. No greeting or smile. Another member of staff was showing them things on their mobile. Tables had not been wiped and generally looked run down. On the way out, we bumped into two couples who were discussing how poor the service was. Maybe it will improve with training

Cheap room close to Silverstone circuit!
Stayed here to be close to Silverstone circuit for Moto GP. Did the job, 15 minutes to the circuit.
Room clean, bed comfy, hot shower.
Communal areas really need cleaning up and decorating. Not a good impression! Glad room was better!

Empty pub, no atmosphere, not even any music on. Garden tables noted after, not very inviting. Bar staff look scruffy, serving food in their lounge wear. Kitchen/Bar staff sat polishing cutlery while we were eating at the next table. Food is over priced microwave/frozen food. Such a shame.
