Reserved a one night stay. Arrived at Hampton Inn & checked in. Went to the room & found the the room to be substandard. The room was small with low ceiling , the furnishings were worn , not very clean . the bed spread a mark on it, the couch was worn & old. We returned to the check in desk & told the employee that it wasn’t acceptable & that we could not stay there. I asked for a refund. The clerk said that we had made the reservation through a 2nd party “Trip.com & payment was to them. I contacted them & was led to believe that I would receive a full refund. We checked into a nicer hotel. Within 2 days I was told that they couldn’t give us a refund. Trip.com & Hampton continued to blame each other for the problems. So we ended up paying for both rooms. Neither Trip.com or Hampton would take responsibility. I recommend that guests not stay at this Hampton Inn… it was just a run down hotel with poor management. If we had been told that we would not get our money back we wouldn’t have stayed & not paid for a 2nd room. Trip.com was awful & could not give us answers. We will never do businesses with either again. Avoid staying here when visiting Waycross, Ga.

The Hotel was Great, and the staff was very polite and Professional, I had to stay 4 days for work, the staff made me feel like home away from home, Nell the breakfast attendant, Deeva & pat the housekeep supervisor, and Mark the Maitenace Man,were all exceptional! Excellent accommodations, Marvin met me at the counter and checked me in with a smile and a great sense of humor! He was really helpful with any questions I had……..and the cookie was delicious!!!! Based on my previous experiences, the hotel industry needs more Marvin’s as the face of their operations.

This property was excellent .The staff was very nice. His name was Marvin . He greeted me with a big smile and and the hometown hospitality, oh and lets not forget he topped it off with my favorite those delicious cookies. Hampton Inn Waycross I definitely will visit again ☺️

Without a doubt our entire stay at the Hampton Inn Waycross was top notch. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Marvin checked us in w a cookie and a smile. Hotel was very clean. Beds very comfortable. The free breakfast was hot, with lots to choose from and changed daily. Conveniently located. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay at Hampton Inn. The front desk staff were friendly and informative at check in. We booked 2 rooms for our family. Rooms were quiet which made for a good night's sleep. They were clean but a little dated. Chairs were a bit dingy and the shelves in the bathroom were starting to slant and looked like they could fall off at any time. Bed sheets were nice and comfy. The breakfast was good, if you could get any. Breakfast is supposed to last until 10am, but that's only if they decide to put any food out after 9am. Attendant was not interested in putting more food out at 9:30 for the 20 or so people that came out looking for breakfast. We came to breakfast at 9:15. It wasn't enough food prepped for our family of 4 so we made sure that the kids ate, and no one was available at the front desk to ask if more food would be put out. My husband and I had to pick up breakfast elsewhere. Overall we had a good experience, just don't bank on breakfast being there for the full time that they advertise. Check out went smoothly.

First let me start by saying that when traveling we try to always stay at Hampton. This was our first stay at this location and will be our last! This location is not up to Hampton standards. The floors in hall way and by elevator were not clean. The elevator floor was also very dirty. Our room was cleaned ok except for the shower where there was hair around the drain! The shower floor looked very old and worn out! The hotel is by railroad tracks which I did not know prior to booking. Trains started running at around 6AM and needless to say were rather loud in the room. Only positive was the staff. Everyone we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. We are by no means picky people but when you pay over $200 for a room you would hope it would live up to cost!

Excellence service from Marvin. He is always very nice and helpful when we check in and stay a few nights. He is always standing there with a smiling face and welcoming you in when you enter the door. He is quick to figure you out and can always make a fun joke to make you feel at home.

This place was fantastic! From the time we walked in the staff was super friendly and helpful. The clerk was singing and dancing and even gave us each a cookie. Our room was spacious and clean with a large bathroom equipped with quality soaps and shampoo and lotions. The bed was very warm and comfortable. I got a really good workout at the fitness center that came equipped with a full dumbell rack. The pool was clean and warm. The parkinglot is well lit and safe I would definitely stay here again!
