Beautiful property. I was pleasantly surprised.

Wonderful Inn!! This is our second year to stay at the English Merchants Inn. The beds & pillows are so comfortable! They provide q-tips, eye makeup remover, cotton balls, makeup remover wipes, & bathroom spray. Who does that? It was rainy & cool during our stay so we enjoyed a fire without the mess of wood. This is a wonderful place to stay. I do wish they provided on site breakfast. Not thrilled to have to leave the Inn for breakfast, but not such a big issue to keep me from staying there again.

Excellent Bed & Breakfast This bed and breakfast was a delightful find in Waxahachie. Howard, the owner, was very friendly and gracious. My husband and I stayed in the cottage and found the place to be quite comfortable. We enjoyed the Keurig for tea and thought the main house was very well decorated and comfortable. This place is very inviting. It was nice to have 3 options to choose from around town where to have breakfast. My favorite was the White Rhino Coffee. However, I do want to mention that the train was very loud during our stay and I was left incredibly sleep deprived on the last night, before needing to wake up early for our flight the next morning. (Yes the train goes all day and all night and is very loud). This is not The English Merchant's Inn's fault but would recommend you bring ear plugs so you can have a restful sleep.

Wonderful old house! Wonderful host, great old house to explore, like a museum with a Brit twist! Great wrap around porch. Teacups, plentiful tea and coffee in room. Our suite was like an antique store, so many items to appreciate. Very clean accommodations. Short, easy walk to downtown Waxahachie, great breakfast places. Sweet town.
