What an amazing place to relax and it is ideal for a romantic gateway. Exceptional customer service and the staff members are really friendly and helpful. The hotel has beautiful suites with a private plunge pool and sauna. The food is really good and they have a wide range of dishes available to order as well. An amazing location that has adventures activities with a beautiful waterfall nearby. We had an amazing View advisor/Guide named Sameera who is friendly and helpful that has an amazing knowledge around the surrounding areas near the hotel. I highly recommend this beautiful hidden resort to spend a peaceful wonderful time with your loved ones.

This gem of a retreat is found up a winding road which is not for the faint of heart! However, the journey is definitely worth it. My family had interconnecting rooms with a heated plunge pool and sauna. This was absolutely fantastic. The rooms and facilities in the rooms are luxurious to say the least. The suites were so spacious. The food was good as well as the drinks and service. Would recommend.

A beautiful well appointed resort in the rain forest extremely well appointed and tasteful , staff is so helpful , they have a staff who takes us bird watching, rafting was organised for us , our villa had a plunge pool. We had a relaxed wonderful time . The Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner were outstanding.

Time stands still in the loveliest way at Palmstone, the peaceful retreat resort in the deep heart of a gorgeous rainforest in Kitulgala. We have just enjoyed the most memorable time here, with idyllic forest walks, great bird watching and some invigorating river rafting with experienced guides. The housekeeping and dining staff offer excellent service, ably led by the manager here. The menu has lovely local Sri Lankan food along with Continental and Indian meal options. We had an incredible two-night stay at the beautiful Palmstone Retreat with my family. We stayed in the Araliya room, which featured a luxurious and clean interior, a plunge pool, and a stunning river view with direct access to the river. Thankfully, the weather was perfect, and we enjoyed swimming in the river and trying out fun activities like sliding, all expertly guided by Sameera, one of the hotel staff. Sameera also took us on a short 20-minute journey to a nearby waterfall, which was absolutely breathtaking. We spent about one to two hours there, swimming in the natural pool and even jumping from the top—it was such a thrilling experience! The food at Palmstone Retreat was amazing. The kitchen staff were incredibly attentive to my specific requirements and prepared everything just as I requested. Mohammed in the restaurant was especially helpful with food and services, ensuring we had the best experience. All the staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay truly special. This was undoubtedly one of the best experiences we had in Sri Lanka, and I highly recommend Palmstone Retreat to anyone looking for a serene and luxurious getaway.
