Travelodge Watford Central

Staff was very helpful, gave recommendations on how to get around on the train system. The room was clean and drinks were reasonably priced down at the pub.

Had to wait 10 minutes for the man on reception to find the booking. He scared us by saying he couldn’t find it and took a while before letting us know we did have a room. Whilst waiting in the bar the tables were dirty and the seats. The bathroom was dated but the bed was cofmy and the room was adequate for the price paid.

Lovely place

I stayed at Travelodge Watford Central for two nights with my family. Unfortunately, my experience with the service was very disappointing. Communication at reception was difficult and not very welcoming. Even though I paid for both breakfast and dinner, no one clearly explained how the food service worked. When I went down for dinner, I was told the wait would be around 45 minutes, but I ended up waiting nearly two hours. The food arrived burnt and was not enjoyable, so I didn’t eat it. I also had an issue when trying to pay extra for food, as the card payment was not working and there was no flexibility or alternative offered, which made the situation even more stressful. However, I would really like to highlight Anna from the housekeeping team. She was very friendly, helpful and made me feel looked after, which I really appreciated. Her attitude and care really stood out. Thank you Anna – you made a difference during my stay.

We had a fantastic stay! Excellent value for money, a great location, and absolutely wonderful staff. A special thank you to Curtis for his kindness, friendliness and great sense of humour. He really made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

DO NOT stay in this hotel as it is unsafe. I was in my room getting changed for a night out when a man walked into my room He’d been given his room key but got wrong door, he was able to open my room door with his key and receptionist Adi and manager Skye didn’t seem to care that it could of been a lot worse which doesn’t bear thinking about, don’t stay here as not safe.

Checked into room for staying over for a concert. Getting ready in room decided to go for a shower when a random man entered my room when my door was locked. I was stood naked and as a young girl feel absolutely traumatised that some man could walk in on me, he was also upset that he had seen that. Reception could not provide any explanation as to why this happened, said he had the wrong room so it’s weird how his key worked on my door. Staff didn’t seem interested and couldn’t even speak to the manager about it. They couldn’t guarantee it wouldn’t happen again and tried to force me to move rooms too.No safety in the hotel for young girls felt scared all night worried someone come in SOLO FEMALE GUESTS DO NOT BOOK NOT SAFE!!!!!!
