Lockwood Hotel

We were in town for the Augusta 1/2 triathlon. I knew when I closed the entry door to our room and to our bathroom, I wouldn’t be disappointed. This solid hotel was 5 star quality construction. Everything being new, all amenities were perfect. Check in staff was super helpful and friendly. Had dinner in hotel, along with ice cold Maine made brew, all of it super delicious! Loved this hotel!!

The restaurant and bar was a delight of epicurean and inspired cocktails. The staff is friendly and kind! The f and b director, Jonathan, was very helpful and accessible for our party. The food was exciting but familiar. The facilities and front desk staff, Nick in particular were amazing to work with and real problem solvers.

My wife and I went to see a concert in Waterville, Maine and decided to stay at the Lockwood Hotel. We had never been there before and what a great surprise it was. It was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Hip, warm, contemporary, are my first thoughts. The hotel lobby, bar, and restaurant area is very large yet still holds on to a cozy feel. The people working there were all down to earth and extremely friendly and informative. We had both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and and both were excellent. The rooms were large, warm, and tastefully decorated. I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to write one for this place. My wife and I are trying to figure out another reason for going to Waterville just so we can stay at this hotel. 5 stars in my book! It's also right downtown at the beginning of all the restaurants and stores. Great place all around. :) :) You won't be disappointed by this place.

A top notch hotel with great service and amenities. And unexpected find. Restaurant and bar are not your normal hotel offerings. Rooms are quiet, and larger than normal Would highly recommend for any stay in Wateville, with great downtown location on the river.

The Lockwood is a joy to stay in! The staff are extremely friendly in a genuine way and are happy to accommodate any special requests. When I needed an extra night they went out of their way to keep me in the same room. I left an electronic device that they promptly mailed back to me. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. The restaurant is excellent and priced reasonably with the same professional and friendly staff. The only negative, and it's a small one, is the parking is across the street from the hotel but it's an easy walk and they have loading and unloading areas. I will go out of my way to get to Waterville to stay at the Lockwood!
