Very clean room with comfortable king bed with a rustic wood bed frame, fireplace and jacuzzi tub, bathroom had newer shower/tub with good water pressure, sink area could use an update. No A/C but room was cool enough with overhead fan and open window at night; room had 2 additional fans that we did not need to use. Nicely decorated with lots of lamps. Coffee and tea service in room (with actual tea cups/teapot and tea cookies!), as well as microwave and bar fridge. Location convenient for walking anywhere in town, ample parking right in front of lodge and also available across the street at Kilmorey Lodge. No restaurant onsite but close to many dining options, 10% off coupon for breakfast at Kilmorey Lodge, but breakfast was underwhelming. Exterior could use updating, deck area and steps in rough shape, fortunately our room was cozy and comfortable. Would stay here again.

We were on the main floor during a hot week. Makes no sense that there are not window air conditioners because the fan did not help us be comfortable. Our room at the back only had one of the three windows that opened. The beds were not comfortable; one of them really affected one person’s back and we flipped the mattress which helped slightly. When asked if we could have a cot rather than sleep on the bed, staff said they didn’t have them because of fire codes. If you are in a walker or wheelchair, it will be very difficult to access the rooms because there are no ramps we could see and parking cement blocks in front of steps to the decks in many spots. It seems perhaps they are letting the decking in front of the building run down because they’re planning to rebuild or sell. We did appreciate the kitchenette and pillows were comfortable, bathroom was very clean.

A nice spacious room. I didn’t realize it included a kitchen too, not that we used it, but a nice surprise. I have knee and shoulder injuries so walking upstairs with baggage was not going to happen. This means we were downstairs by the front door and heard everyone coming in and out and the toddler running around the room above us. I recommend if you aren’t infirm to take an upper floor. Luckily I am a sound sleeper and people staying there were considerate and were not the type to make excess noise. It was nice to park right in front of our room. I think likely every place is pricey so considering that, this was a decent price for the area and for what you get. Not much of a walk to see everything. Some nice extras like tea and artisan soap.

Our room #4 had a small kitchenette which was sufficient for making tea, but you could have done a simple meal even though in close quarters. Beds were comfortable enough. Shower was good height, but water fluctuates as it does in older buildings. Could have used more towel racks. It was OK for two people so no room for towels to dry for the third and fourth person. Would be helpful to have shelves above the toilet for storing toiletries. The room has a small table with chairs for four. Would be better if there was some lighting above it. No TV, but the wifi was good so watched movies on an iPad. Breakfast is available across the street at the Kilmoray Lodge.

We had a two bedroom/1 bath suite in this old but warm and quaint Inn. Our unit was completely remodeled with a kitchen, fireplace, dining room table and pull out couch. The pictures that the lodge has posted do not do the units justice. One bedroom had a queen and the other had two twins. The bedding and beds were comfortable. The lodge is conveniently located in the little town of Waterton. We enjoyed staying in Waterton township because you can walk everywhere. Because were were there in late May the town was very quiet but we really enjoyed not having any crowds in town or on the trails.

PROS: excellent location. Amenities are great. We got a renovated room and loved that there was a microwave, coffee machine, and fridge. Price was also fair. Bed was comfortable. The complimentary cookies was a nice touch. NEGS: Room was hot!! We had the window open all night, you have no control over it. Toilet paper was almost empty. This building is extremely old. Floors extremely squeaky, not good in an old building with thin walls. Lighting really bad. And my biggest annoyance, they completely ignored my email requesting to book direct with hotel rather than a 3rd party but their website was significantly more. At least respond and tell me you can’t match the price!

Great kitchenettesfor families with everything you might need except a cutting board - dishes, cutlery, pots, fry pan, tea kettle, toaster, microwave, stove/oven, fridge, tea towels, etc. Great location in a great national park. The kitchenette that we had had two bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with twin beds. Washroom with shower. The thoughful staff provided us with local herbal teas, and cookies in addition to a keurig with coffee, sugar and creamer.

This is an older property with some updates (such as the bathroom, which has a newer shower). Comfortable for a getaway to Waterton Park where you will likely be outside for most of your visit. It is a two-storey hotel and you do need to climb fairly steep and narrow stairs to get to rooms on the second level. Our room did not have any sort of a closet, just a coat rack with a few hangers. Also, rooms do not have televisions, so if you want to watch sports on TV, be prepared to head to one of the bars.
