- Room was great and comfortable but the toilet seat was broken. It also felt claustrophobic as the one window stared out into another building. For the price I paid on the promotion it is acceptable. - Breakfast - was delicious but I would have liked to be briefed about where breakfast was and what time it is from etc. Breakfast is brought to your room so a little uncomfortable eating under the tv, I somehow feel a small breakfast table should be added to the room or the current table moved to a better space. No guidance regarding parking and I noticed some people had parked in front of their rooms but the gate was locked so had to walk in the rain and cold to my car which was parked on the other side. Did not see a security guard so was a bit concerned about the safety of my car considering there was also a wedding the same night. The gate was left open, not sure if it was working or not. Getting to my room meant walking towards a couples room which was a a bit awkward. Since the rooms are far from reception and require you to walk outside I think they should have a telecom system so we can contact reception if anything. I would go back but not at their actual rate on promotion yes:-)

The good stuff -the food and the interior of the the property was lovely. Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives. Bearing in mind that they had another event going-which should not be an excuse- the level of disorganisation was appalling. Upon check in-we indicated that we would check in late but the staff there were clueless. We were sent up and down the venue before we could securely check in. During our entire stay, it was very noisy, you could hear people talking and walking around the venue in the AMs. There are no phones in the rooms so you need to use your own airtime to contact the staff, there were no guide books regarding eating times or menus. The pool was filthy -if you’re looking for aesthetics-for pictures, you will be disappointed. The exterior of the venue on the pictures vs the condition of the place currently is catfished. We were extremely disappointed as it was supposed to be a romantic birthday weekend away in the bushes.
