The Old School House Rooms

About as perfect as a B&B can get. Small, secluded, gorgeous location (on a village green with 2 nice pubs on it!), car park is around the back and easy, also - easy check-in (self check in is lovely after a hard day's work), then you start to notice the little touches - breakfast forms to order for the next morning (the full English breakfast was gorgeous BTW), the shower head turned slightly sideways so you can test the temperature before getting in, the towels are huge and plenty fluffy, everything flawlessly clean, so many kinds of tea in the room (camomile? yay!), a TV which works (you'd be surprised...), nice pillows, a good solid mattress, lot of USB charging points, nice oraganery area to relax in, the rooms are plenty spacious... This is a great little place, and the guys running it are clearly on the top of their game. Recommended!

What a find! Last minute booking and the hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating. Lovely clean rooms, furnished to very high standards. Great shower-room. We had already contacted wonderful sleep! All needs catered for - it was a hot spell and a there was a very good fan in situ. Breakfast was excellent and home-cooked to order. Great location in an attractive village. Super friendly and welcoming hosts.

Well located, safe off street parking, spotlessly clean, lovely soft towels, comfy bed and a great breakfast with quality ingredients. Several local pubs within walking distance. A really friendly feel. Can’t fault this place. Will be back.

Lovely property with great breakfast (really good coffee and fruit juice) - Convenient for Waterbeach station and trains into Cambridge and Newmarket.

We stayed for one night while on business The building is a quirky old place and had been a school! The large rooms have been divided into a number of cosy well appointed rooms Check in was self service and very well organised Ordering breakfast was via a well designed form Lisa and Phil are lovely and we met them at breakfast! Breakfast is one of the best I've ever had, all freshly cooked by Phil! Highly recommended

Cambridge Sightseeing Stayed for two nights, visiting Cambridge but wanting to avoid the city-centre hotels. Great location - Waterbeach Station is 5 mins walk from where its 2 stops / £3 to Cambridge Central. Accommodation was ideal. Lisa made arrival simple, and the room was comfortable, quiet and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious and Lisa very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come again.
