Stephen and Philip are the perfect hosts at these idyllic cottages . We stayed in Yew Tree cottage for 2 nights and left wanting more ! The cottages are set across the courtyard from the amazing pool where there’s many comfortable seat's and parasols on offer ! The cottage is very well equipped , clean neat and tidy and everything in good working order ,lots of hot water , great shower and luxurious furnishings. The cottages are located on the River Nene which itself offers lots of entertainment. (Kayaks and canoes are available for hire further along the the river ) Stephen and Philip are more than happy to share their properties and amazing gardens with guests ! A trip into Stamford is an easy drive and a must from here , a great market town with lots of eateries and independent shops . Such an enjoyable experience

We had a fantastic, relaxing weekend break in the comfortable and cosy Coach Cottage, which was perfect for the two of us. The riverside location is beautiful, and the stunning garden is perfect for just chilling out - with the pool an added bonus. Great location for some sight seeing with plenty places of interest close by - we had picnics by the river at Wansford and Nene Park, and lunch in a lovely cafe in Stamford. Stephen and Philip were the perfect hosts with a great welcome and lots of advice to help make the most of our stay. We certainly recommend these cottages and hope to return for another relaxing break.

My wife and I had a lovely weekend break in the cosy Coach Cottage which is really well kitted out. Stephen and Philip are excellent hosts and always available with advice to ensure you can make the most of your stay. The setting and garden is beautiful and, combined with the pool, made for a very relaxing stay. A perfect place to just veg out for a few days! Highly recommended.

Stephen is an amazing host! The cottage is beautiful, peaceful and very clean. Surroundings are amazing and swimming in the river from the garden was a real treat! Thanks for the hospitality, looking forward to coming back in the summer! :)

Great hosts, provided excellent clear booking communication. Very friendly, genuine gents that were very welcoming. Fantastic location next to river, quiet and peaceful. Easy access to A1 and close to a selection of great attractions. Surrounded by beautiful villages and wonderful Stamford. Great restaurants nearby. The one bed cottage was ample for two and had all the necessary facilities in a charming building. Happy to recommend and looking forward to our return.

This is the second time we have stayed at River Nene Cottages. This time they were fully booked so they accommodated us in the River and Bunk room in the main house and we could have not felt more welcome and comfortable. We all slept brilliantly. they laid out the table for breakfast in the country kitchen. Philip and Stephen are great people.

We were in the area for a wedding and decided to make it a family get away. We stayed in the cottages and enjoyed time relaxing by the pool and along the river. It was incredibly restful being able to watch the boats and barges go by. I could people watch all day. The hosts Stephen and Philip were great hosts and made us feel incredibly welcome.
