We found the hotel easily, parked the car and went in to check-in. After some confusion we were told that there are no longer any rooms in the attrative old building and we would be on the second floor of the modern annex at the back of the hotel. There is no lift so we managed to get a ground floor room which was basic, a fair size, did the job except that the bathroom lighting was abysmal. The light needed to be charged and it wasn't until the next day that a charger was delivered, until then we used a bedside lamp, so much for H&S. The car park was fine and breakfast good but one never felt a valued guest and we won't return.
