I travelled with my wife and 3 year old daughter for a short Christmas break. The stay was pleasant. Staff was supportive and always polite. Free breakfast was up to the mark.
Parking is a little expensive (40-45 USD) per night which is extra and the pool was under renovation when we visited.
The concierge was very helpful and gave good advice about where to get food. Didn't use any facilities, I thought the breakfast was complimentary and when I got down there in the morning I found out that was false. I thought the prices were a little steep for breakfast so I passed on that. Overall had a good time though.
It feels like living in a fraternity house. On Friday and Saturday nights, the 5th floor rooftop has disco parties which you’ll hear the music in your room until 2am if you live on the 4th or 3th floor. The staffs were nice in trying to help when I raised issue with noise. I had noise cancelling headphones on the whole night with taking melatonin so that I can fall asleep. They also gave me a room in the basement (lower level). The music doesn’t go there but there is a lot of water noise there. They had ear plugs ready when I asked them for help so it’s not a problem that they’re willing to fix. I would recommend this place to prioritise their guests than the bar visitors. Other than noise, things were pretty good though. I guess this hotel is good for young people. Parking on the streets could be difficult though.

This hotel is simply fantastic. The description is not too much, booked for a twin room. We needed to stay in Washington for one more night due to insufficient time. We booked a hotel temporarily. The price of a night stay in the hotel was too expensive, and we didn't want to be too far away from the Union station. After the hotel was moved here, the little black brother at the front desk gave check-in directly, very surprised, and gave them a big praise! There is a 24-hour free hot coffee on the first floor, there is a small snack bar, and the snack bar is also equipped with a microwave. The hotel is very clean, entered the room, bigger surprises, the beds are large, each single bed can sleep 2 people, the pillows are also prepared for the standard of 2 people per bed, everything in the bathroom is 4 For personal standard preparation, all toiletries are Neutrogena, and two sets are provided directly. The rooms have microwaves and refrigerators, and the beds are comfortable.
There is a free shuttle bus between the hotel and Union station, every 30 minutes, and the driver also told us that we can take a red circle auto at the station and said that as long as the fare is a knife, the route map of the car was returned, it was beautiful because we were yesterday Take 3 subways per person and 1 knife to get a bus card. After we got on the bus, because we put in coins and the banknotes couldn't get in, the driver took it in. When I got back, I was about to insert a coin. The driver simply blocked the coin slot and said no. Breakfast is okay, at least not worse than breakfast outside, and there are fruits, juices, eggs, toasts, which meet my needs for breakfast. This hotel is highly recommended, and it is highly recommended for anyone who comes to Washington for fun. If I come again, I will definitely book this hotel directly. It is really great. The waiter Xiao Hei also likes to communicate with you in Chinese. Oh yes, the hotel also has a swimming pool and gym, which is free for guests.
Regarding the location, there is a place called Union Market nearby, and there are places where you can eat Asian cuisine, so it is recommended for lunch.
In addition, there are several restaurants, so I think it's good.
It is not too far from sightseeing spots, so it is recommended for those who value cost performance.
Ivy City Hotel was very clean. Its right on a busy main road, but it is easily assessable, if that makes any sense. The room smelled like **** (its legal), but was easily covered up by a lit candle. It easy very calm all throughout the day/night , especially for DC and the characters that come and go. All in all, its a good place to lay your head when you stay.

The hotel is very good, in the Washington DC area, with an excellent location. You can actually walk to the attractions. The service is good. The hotel should have been renovated in recent years. Other hotels in DC are generally too old.
The white supervisor at the front desk is very responsible and has a good attitude. The restaurant service is also good. I prefer the American breakfast method of ordering food, but there are too few types of American breakfast.
The charm of this renovated boutique hotel just steps off of DuPont Circle is only outmatched by the level of friends and customer service provided by the staff. You cannot ask for a more convenient location. There’s the DuPont Metro stop steps away, but we find many attractions are within a 30 minute walk. The rooms are well appointed with up-to-date furnishings and design, and glorious mattresses. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The free cocktail at 5pm isn’t bad either
The room is very large, the toilet is also large, and the interior is very designed
But the service is very average. You have to go downstairs to get water yourself. There is no water delivery service.
The location is not as convenient as near the museum area, but it is very clean and safe. It is next to the embassies of Serbia and Kazakhstan.

The facilities are old and the ice machines and vending machines are broken. The environment is very good and the transportation is convenient. The staff has a good sense of service, but the staffing is insufficient. Breakfast is an a la carte system, and it took nearly 50 minutes for the food to be served.
