Our stay at the Lyle Hotel was okay, but we were disappointed with the pricing. The rate on the booking was $177, but we ended up having to pay an additional $60 in extra fees at checkout. These unexpected charges give hotels and booking platforms a bad reputation. Washington was a great destination, but this experience left a sour taste. However, the dinner at Annie’s Paramount Steakhouse was fantastic! Definitely a recommendation.

Booked a weekend stay for a wedding that was held at the Wharf location of DC. Hotel was nice, room size was decent, hotel was clean and professional. Prices for daily parking were a little extreme $59/day. Didn’t have much of a choice to park elsewhere so we left the car at the hotel and utilized Uber to get to and from the hotel to the Pendry at the Wharf. Oh yea hot showers makes the smoke detector go off but other then those two issues this was a great stay for weekend, especially with it being the 4th of July weekend !

Guest rooms are very spacious. Location is great: walking distance to Georgetown and five minutes to the DuPont Circle Red Line station. Check in and check out were fast. The fitness center equipment was upgraded during my visit. The pool was, however, closed for the duration.
Staff were friendly. The business center’s printer’s toner needed to be replaced but wasn’t during my visit but front desk staff helped me with printing. Housekeeping staff are nice but sometimes maybe too busy and can forget to replenish everything, such as paper cups for the coffee machines.
Generally very good value hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Washington-Central/White House! The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to the White House and many of the city’s major attractions. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and very well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any questions or requests.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was especially cozy, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a busy day exploring the city. The complimentary Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the business center was a great touch for any work-related tasks.
What I loved most was the convenience of having a restaurant on-site, serving delicious meals in a cozy setting. The breakfast options were varied and tasty, giving me a good start to my day.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Washington, D.C. It’s the perfect balance of comfort, location, and value. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip

The location is very convenient, there are many cafes and restaurants around, try not to live in a room facing the street, it is too noisy at night. Don’t include breakfast either. The hotel’s breakfast is made to order, which is very slow. The breakfast in the nearest cafe outside is very good, which is only a three-star level in China.

Classy hotel, well situated with friendly and efficient staff. Dinner was well executed offering both indoor, patio and bar seating depending on your preference. There is a library room with a fireplace to relax with a drink or coffee in the morning. Also a nice gym downstairs including Peloton bikes. Definitely a step up from the big hotel chains and a lovely place to stay while visiting Washington DC.

We love place,,beautiful without being extravagant, extremely clean place, an extraordinary conformable bed. The paid breakfast was excelent and the most important was its location. We walk to the national mall, all monuments, museums, restaurants and attractions. We sure will choose Washington Plaza Hotel agramo and recommend to our friends and family. We are avid travelers and this is a gem of a Hotel.
The location is really wonderful! It’s close to the most famous places like the White House and DuPont Circle. you only need to take a bus to go to Georgetown. It’s about 10 minutes. The room is clean and I really recommend the restaurant on the ground floor! Overall this is a nice place to stay at when traveling in dc!
Location is good, pretty close to the airport. No airport shuttle service though. Front desk people are nice and friendly. Room is clean. Love the neighborhood around the hotel. Many good restaurants within walking distance. It also takes about 15 minutes walking to the nearest metro station. My girls also loved the outdoor swimming pool. It’s pretty nice to swim in a pool with Washington Monument in the background. Definitely recommend this place to the families with kids.
Located in Adams Morgan, the hotel is surrounded by McDonald's, Starbucks, CVS Drugstore and a variety of restaurants. It is a 15-minute walk from the nearest underground station, Woodley Park, or by bus. A 15-minute walk north to Columbia Heights, there are a variety of shops such as Targets, Marshalls, Best buy. The room is very spacious and very quiet at night. Fully equipped with a safe. Toothbrushes, toothpaste and slippers need to be provided, but in American hotels, they are environmentally friendly. The hotel has a restaurant, breakfast is available, dinner can be ordered, and there is also a coffee bar. The restaurant business is very good and should be good.

Great
GGuest UserEverything about this hotel was perfect for my trip. The front desk staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The concierge provided great recommendations for food and activities, made sure I got on the right bus, told me exactly where to get off, and checked in at the end of my trip to make sure everything went smoothly. I was traveling alone on this trip and felt very safe at the hotel. The room was well-appointed, clean, and although it was on a fairly busy street, it was not noisy. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again in the future.

GGuest UserThe location is convenient. You can walk to the White House. The waiters are very friendly. The laundry service is good and it is easy to call a taxi. Chinatown can also be reached on foot. It costs about 25 dollars to take a taxi to the city airport. There is a supermarket.

KKoon Kee SiahQuite a convenient location within walking distance to White House.
The hotel did not want to supply a kettle but finally did provide one as the phone in the room wasn’t working.
The Italian restaurant there does serve some good food.

GGuest UserBy far the worst JW Marriott 'experience' I've had.
The elevator system was terrible, often times waiting for 20-30 mins for the elevator, and when it arrives, it's already full, having to wait for other elevators. This elevator system need to be reprogrammed. The fitness center was close and there was no notice anywhere that it was closed. I called the fitness center to ask if the fitness center has moved, the front desk responded I can go to the Westin Hotel fitness center, which was 1 mile away. One evening the fire system went off and we were told to evacuate the hotel, as we were walking down the stairs, they notified it was a false alarm.
The location is great, but I will not stay here again.
CCANNot far from Chinatown, there are also many luxury shops nearby. It is 1 to 2 kilometers away from the Lincoln Memorial of the White House, but DC was originally not big. The size of the room is ok and clean, that is, you will knock on the door early in the morning to ask if you want to clean the room. If you don't take the initiative to contact the room and ask for the room to be cleaned.
GGuest UserThe location is not far from the Gallery Pl-Chinatown metro station. The rooms are very spacious for Washington. Compared to the Fairfield Inn, which is also part of the Marriott chain and located close to the same station, this one is cheaper and the rooms are larger.
I am not happy with the poor water facilities, as shown in the attached photo.

JJIAKAITo be honest, this staying experience is not good. I have booked N hotels in Ctrip and never had any problems. The problems encountered this time are very speechless. Because I had two children, I booked a twin room on Ctrip. At the front desk of the hotel, they told me that when Ctrip booked with the hotel, they indicated it was a double room! I gave the Ctrip order to the front desk, but they said that Ctrip must specify the bed when booking. I contacted Ctrip customer service, what is more speechless is that Ctrip customer service actually said that the double bed double bed in Ctrip refers to the double bed! !! I've lived in the United States for 25 years, and this is the first time I've heard an explanation like this ... well, Ctrip, you're awesome!
In the end, because the hotel did not have spare twin rooms, it would only take 5 days ...
A company that refuses to admit its mistakes. I don't know what the future holds ...
KKyoka2302Very nice hostel! The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage! Very very clean, Definitely would come back for the stay!
However, would appreciate it if there was a hairdryer in the room or shampoo.. i didnt realised the shampoo needs to be brought on a poster inside the lift..
王王There is no breakfast, but there are quite a few meals downstairs and around. There are two bedrooms, a living room and a sofa bed, which should be able to live with a family. I didn't know the parking situation without driving. A few steps away is the White House, and the surrounding environment is very good. Would highly recommend to friends who want to go to Washington to play.
