Great experience! The hotel rooms are clean and well appointed. They are very quiet (finally a hotel room that has invested in thick walls and doors). They let us check in early (they were very accommodating) and provided great recommendations. Highly recommend!

Felt safe walking in the neighborhood area, wonderful restaurants within easy walking distances & access to metro. Bed is very comfortable, towels are “fluffy” and rooms are very “quiet” …?could not hear neighbors!!!

Excellent place to stay. Room was clean spacious and modern. Nice robes for you to use. Great breakfast as well as complementary happy hour from 5:30-7 daily with snacks and 2 drinks per person. Great location, really loved our stay.

If you are a HGV member you expect a better level of lodging. This is a basic Embassy Suites hotel. Nothing special about it. If you like Embassy Suites this will work for you. Otherwise use your points and stay elsewhere. Location (as noted in other reviews) is good. But HGV members paid for a better level of hotel.

Our family really felt comfortable here and loved the location. It's in the west end of DC with some upscale restaurants nearby and a 13 minute walk to the Foggy Bottom Metro station. You can walk to the White House in about 30 minutes from here too. The service was very friendly at check in and throughout our visit, like when we requested a couple extra pillows for the sofa bed. The room was on the top floor, which is the 9th floor; one of the top 3 floors operated by The District Hilton Club. The first 6 floors are also run by Hilton, but they are the Embassy Suites floors. Our room had a king bed in its own room and an L-shaped couch in the living room with a sofa bed. The bathroom, with a sizable shower and wide vanity area was located between the living room and bedroom, separated by 2 sliding doors. Each piece of furniture as well as every fixture was in perfect condition with little to no signs of wear. The room also included a microwave and small fridge, plus many drawers for storage. The view looked directly across the way at the building nextdoor - neither bad nor great. Outside the room, this hotel has a central lobby such that almost all room doors open to a balcony overlooking the lobby and lounge area instead of an enclosed hallway.

The staff was professional and accommodated our requests in a timely manner. The suite was clean and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and server's were amazing. Overall beautiful stay.
