Step inside your stylish Capitol Hill loft, thoughtfully designed for comfort and ease. The open-plan living area features a plush West Elm sofa and a futon for relaxing or accommodating extra guests. Sunlight pours through the windows, illuminating original hardwood floors and sleek modern touches. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher, and everything you need to cook at home. Sip your morning coffee or unwind in the evening on the private front deck. The cozy bedroom includes a queen-size bed and generous closet space, while the full bathroom offers a bathtub and fresh essentials. We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everyone can enjoy their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about pets, baby gear and parking:
1) Our properties are protected by Truvi. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period. ...
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.
* Baby Wipes/Wet Wipes/Cleaning Pads
* Dental Floss
* Q-tips/Cotton Balls
* Diapers
* Pills
* Paper Towels/Tissues
*Coffee grounds
3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations.
Please note that neither Sojourn nor the property owner shall be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to the vehicle or any personal property therein, nor for any injury to the driver, passengers, or any other person, arising out of or in connection with the use of the parking space. Any use of the parking space is at the sole risk of the vehicle owner or driver. Neither Sojourn nor the owner guarantee the safety or security of any vehicle parked in the parking space and disclaims any responsibility for any acts of theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.
7) Please do review the house rules before your stay. We will hold guest responsible for clogging plumbing. Sojourn enforces a strict zero tolerance on smoking of any kind to include e cigarettes in our homes. Parties and other events are strictly prohibited. A $500 charge will be added to your card in the event of any smoking to include the use of marijuana and e cigarettes. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices, your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced.
