Brookland Quiet Living

Comfortable We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable, had enough space to hang out and the mattresses were comfortable. It is an easy 1/2 mile walk to the Metro station which we found easy to navigate. There is a pizza restaurant to pick up dinner at on your walk back to the house from the Metro. We had a maintenance problem and the host responded quickly and took care of the problem promptly. He answered our questions promptly too. I would stay here again.

Great find for an awesome price! We had a wonderful stay. We arrived at night and at first were concerned about the location, as we drove in off of a road that was not the one close to Catholic University, and it gave off a very different vibe (all this to say, don’t be alarmed if you come this way too!). The house is old, but well-maintained and has even more space than the listing portrayed. We never felt unsafe, and this is coming from a family with a lot of young kids. We even took advantage of the pack n’ play and high chair that were a pleasant surprise to find at the place, as we did not see them listed in the listing. We walked to the metro station (which is right by Catholic University) and found it easy to use the red line train to get all over the place. It was about a 1/2 mile walk to the station, and did have a few small up and down hills, but it was doable even with a double stroller. Street parking was never an issue in terms of finding a spot right by the unit. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Cozy and perfectly located! The home was very comfortable and homey. Conveniently located, short Uber ride to the museums and memorials. The host was very kind and responsive as well. Would stay again!
