Super 8 by Wyndham Hagerstown/Halfway Area

Hotel was absolutely fine given the price. Room and common areas were clean, but a bit dated. Since we were simply sleeping and showing there during a hiking trip to the area, the place was just great. Two suggested improvements: 1) Replace the old carpeting with vinyl flooring. 2) Limit the rooms available to pet guests. Otherwise no complaints.

Never stayed at a Super 8 before & I was pleasantly surprised by the clean, comfortable and affordable room we had. The staff were very friendly & accommodating. There was also an assortment of both hot & cold foods for breakfast. The hot foods were pre-cooked & you had to microwave them, but if you complain about a complimentary breakfast, shame on you. There is a McDonalds right down the street. If you are looking for a place with a pool, gym, or a beautiful view, this is not your place, but if you just needs a good nights sleep in a clean, comfortable & affordable room, this is it.

I would have preferred lower level but had a very pleasant stay. Morning coffee needs to be stronger, didn't wake me up but loved the little yogurts and cheese omelets. Maybe put a laundry bag in the room so Guests can separate clothes when packing up to go.

Clean, quiet, easy to get to, easy check in and out, friendly staff. I cannot express how impressed I am with this hotel. I absolutely plan to stay again. I stayed for an event happening that is annual and will use this hotel again next year. I bragged to my family and they plan to use this hotel too. Truly recommend it to anyone needing to stay in that area.

There was food and hairs in the bed we were going to sleep in. Disgusting. The other one looked ok. I say looked, because after seeing the cleanliness of the first one, we weren’t sure that the other one was freshly changed. Very deceiving. It was our second visit at this hotel. Our first visit was perfect. I am not sure that we will go back to this hotel again.
