Red Roof Inn Washington, PA

Our room was dirty, had to ask for clean blankets, the electric outlets were hanging out off the walls or just wouldn't work at all. Kept blowing the breaker. Housekeeping needs to take time and clean the rooms get all the rash from under the beds and behind the chairs! Cigarette butts everywhere, no ashtrays! Mold in the ice machine. NOT a place I'd stay at again!

The room was small but clean, at the price was everything we were looking for and expected. Wifi worked well, the night was quiet and the location very convenient. We made a mistake with our initial on line booking and showed up a day later than our reservation, so initially we had to pay again. The front desk couldn’t help us but after contacting Mitch, the Manager, he immediately authorized a refund. We felt that was very generous and understanding since the mistake was ours, speaks highly of this property.

Very satisfied with stay even though it was overnight. Our room was very clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice that it was close by some places to eat and things to do. I would stay again.

I'll start off by saying that the front desk, cleaning and maintenance staff was so friendly and nice.. The manager. He's not a pleasant person. He seems so mean.. since about may1st 2023 my family and I have been staying there because we are having such a hard time finding a home. Everything is so high or they want you to have a 700 credit score. It's me my elderly mom and my 3 kids. My daughter has cystic fibrosis my mom is sickly and my son has a intellectual disability. I'm a delivery drive.. so we've been renting out 2 rooms 141 and 143 since may 1st. I extended my stay every Friday online. On June 16 2023 I extended online on the website. Because of the taylor swift concert the price of our rooms skyrocket from 70 something a night to over 200$ a night. I scraped up enough money to get one more night. I booked online just to be told by the Manager that they was booked up. I'm like how when I was allowed to book online. All the hotels/motels in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas was all booked up. I broke down and cried. I'm like we don't have anywhere to go. He didn't care. He's like I have 90 people coming here tonight and he was giving us until 12pm to get all of our stuff out. I had to get a uhaul that I couldn't afford at the moment and got my family out. We sat in the Dennys parking lot trying to find somewhere to go. Everything was booked up or way too expensive...all that waiting in the uhaul all of our food went bad. Around 7pm we was able to find a motel in west VA. Now we are stuck down here. I hope who ever had room 141 and 143 had a nice time at the concert... the plumbing in room 143 was messed up the sink toilet and tub didn't work. It kept getting stopped up. I even brought draino so it could work but it didn't help any

The room was clean but will prefer if they mop the floor of the room. Overall good!

The staff was wonderful. We left a very important bag there. It was taken to the office where my daughter was able to pick it up. We truly appreciated their honesty.

We stayed here Oct 2022 and our room , while cozy, was very clean and bed very comfortable. the staff was friendly and helpful. Very good value. Close to the Freeway. walking distance to Denny's and Wendy's.

The staff were very nice and the room was mostly clean. The only flaw I found was the microwave inner top was splattered with old food. I informed the front desk and they said they would address it. On my return trip, I stayed here again and the microwave had still not been cleaned. Other than that, I would stay here again. FYI: I check the rooms I stay in with a UV light prior to moving in and this room was very good. I still sprayed things down that I would be touching. I figure we cant be too careful, right?

Upon check in the women were callus and rude, they posed the threat of charging penalties I smoked in the room (which doesn't concern me , I don't smoke, she then directed me to a set of stairs that was the furthest away from my car and the room, ,when there was a far more convienent set that led right to the front of the room. The stairs were filthy and wreaked of filth The room was obviously recently cheapie refaced, the A/C was cranking to an unreasonable temp. When I turned it off, there was a heavy stink of old cigarette smoke. ****THE GARBAGE IN THE HALLWAY,WHICH WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY DOOR, WAS OVERFILLED,SMELLED RANCID,,And, had remained full, from the time Id check in until Id left. That Hallway ..CARPET FILTHY.! Stunk like dirty body odor and urine/heavy smell, I almost puked. Shameful CREEPY, NEVER AGAIN.
