We traveled from Mpls to Waseca for a Saturday wedding. Hotel was clean and neat, but dated. Think 70 s. We needed a basic room for the night close to our wedding. It was perfect. Room was clean, no smells, just a nice basic clean room. Convenient to everything. Kwik trip across the street was more like a super market. Restaurant across the street, liquor store with a block and a walmart close by in case we forgot something. If you are looking for a 5 star modern place, this would not be for you. But if you are looking for a reasonable room for the night, I would highly recommend. We didn't see any breakfast there, but maybe we missed it. Kwik trip was stocked w fresh bakery, or BK and McDonalds right down as we headed back home. Recommend!

Its obviously under construction. Holes in the walls where there used to be picture hangers. Paint was partially paint and partially primer. We found a razor blade on top of our a/c unit. There was a nasty smell in the room which I think was probably flooring adhesive as the flooring was new. The bathroom was clean but badly outdated/institutional. So that's the worst stuff. Good stuff was that the beds were probably new memory foam and weren't too bad once you were in them and the sheets were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. I can't speak on the breakfast because I never saw it. The tables were still wrapped in plastic so I dont know if they served breakfast.

The bad - During check in was told there would be no breakfast, new owners and remodeling was going to happen, no big deal for us, as we would be going to Daughters place for breakfast anyway. When we tried to enter our room card did not work, after numerous attempts we notified personnel. After numerous attempts by hotel management making a new card, battery was replaced which didn't work either. The good - we were then moved into a King bed room, a lot nicer room for the money, an awesome upgrade, management really made an effort to please us. Will stay there again and can't wait to see the upgrades they will be making.

Too expensive for what you get This hotel would be less than $50/night anywhere else, but they take full advantage of being 1 of 2 hotels in the area by jacking up the price. (The other hotel is just as expensive and just as bad.)

Not the best and not the worst It was decent not the best and not the worst ive stayed at. Check in and out was easy. Room was all right. Carpet need's/should be replaced it has seen better days. The building has a not so great smell. But it is clean and no sketchy people hanging around, which maters most. It was worth it.
