Lakeview Resort Motel

Wow!! Spent two days there over Canada Day weekend. This motel is in excellent shape! Owners that obviously care. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The pool was fabulous, We actually had housekeeping in the morning of day two stay!! does anywhere do that these days. Wasaga is going through big changes. LAKEVIEW resort and it's buildings still stand. I'll be back!! Please support to keep this treasure alive. Thank you for taking good care of us this past weekend. We will be back,

A very clean functional hotel room with just about every convenience, right next to the main Wasaga Beach front. There is a nice pool right outside the main court-room, many rooms look out onto pool area. Hotel room had full-sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, shower. Our room had jacuzzi tub. This resort is adjacent to the main beach, could not be closer, highly recommended.

Definitely Not for Family. This motel has lots of potential but no upgrades and totally no Guest care. The beds were ok And our room was actually not too bad but the cigarette Smoke smell was too strong. Also Ac Filters very dirty very hard to breathe.

$572 for 3 nights on Canada Day Long Weekend... with a view of the water and pool = GREAT VALUE! My husband and I took a chance on this hotel. When we travel without our kids, we always book the honeymoon suite. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi room was booked and the only available room was the cheapest room at the hotel... the Standard Queen Room. We booked it and went in with low expectations. The room far exceeded our expectations! There wasn't a flower print in sight! We had fresh clean linens and a solid blue comforter on our comfortable queen size bed. There was also a new loveseat with some throw pillows. At the back of the room was a bathroom vanity area with a nice size fridge/freezer. This was a great amenity! No more trying to jam our food and drinks into a tiny bar fridge. But the best feature about our value room, is the view. Although the view is out of a small window, in the vanity area, it was nice to be able to look out at the pool, courtyard, Lakeview Deck, barbeque area and beyond to Georgian Bay. Room #15 is the best room in this category...in my opinion. It is on the second floor, at the end of the shared balcony, past room #12 and #14... which means that no one walks through your balcony. It is the most private room in this category. Room #12 and #14 each have a table with 2 chairs on the balcony... but the balcony is shared between the 3 rooms. The first floor rooms, #9, 10 and 11 have patios that anyone can walk by but are convenient for having your vehicle directly out front and there are no stairs to climb. These rooms are at the front of the hotel and the balconies and patios face Mosley Street. We enjoyed people watching and the excitement of the main drag. The location of this hotel is EXCELLENT! The resort has a private walkway to the beach which is a great asset! It is kinda creepy and dark but once you open the door at the end, you are right there in the middle of the shops along the beach. A few more steps and you are on the sand... perfect. The Lakeview Deck is also a great feature. There are plenty of chairs and tables to enjoy your own drinks and snacks of your choice. The barbeques are just off to the side of the viewing deck and outdoor pool. The hotel is within walking distance to the LCBO and many fastfood eateries and food trucks... however, most sit-down restaurants are a short drive away. Overall, we had a great time. The room was not perfect. I wish we had a few dishes to use in the microwave and their selection of coffee stuff was limited. However, we didn't book an efficiency room so I would imagine that other more expensive rooms have those amenities. We also could have asked for these things and the owner may have been able to accommodate us. We are just low maintenance travelers and we don't like to waste time being a nuisance on our vacation.
