Mercure Warwickshire Walton Hall Hotel & Spa

I had an absolutely delightful stay here. The rooms were spotless, provided in the rooms were coffee machines, bath robes, room slippers, hair dryers. There were basic toiletries and you could ask for vanity kits or shaving kits as well. The in room dining menu is priced very well but it is not all day, so do check with the reception. There is so much to do around the property and there’s ample parking available as well. The indoor pool is heated and can be used till 8PM. Breakfast is from 7-10AM and is a lovely spread.

Good hotel

Stunning location with amazing countryside wrapped around it. Very enjoyable for afternoon and evening walks in the grounds. Food was very good too

The bed is comfy, shower is really good and the surrounding area is really quiet and peaceful. No stress with parking space, great breakfast and dinner, friendly staffs..basically nothing to complain other than The hotel is a bit isolated from but for relaxing is really nice.

Fabulous location and nice grounds. Hotel itself looks a little strange and not what I expected. But once inside it was all really good. Breakfast was superb and our room was perfect.

Looking at the website it's easy to believe that you will be staying in a luxury hotel and spa. Unfortunately this is quickly dispelled on arrival at the hotel, the buildings are run down and poorly maintained, many of the staff have little or no idea about hospitality. The property manager should be ashamed, I know maintenance on a Grade 2 building is costly but the level of work that has been done is shabby and no attention to detail, and the level of disrepair now requires much more experience as it requires replacing. The food was average and the waitress at breakfast was so rude, that she stood and screamed at another table when we commented on her attitude to the supervisor as she thought they had complained. There was member of reception who went above and beyond when we went to reception about a noisy party being held in the part of the hotel our original room was in, she moved us to another part of the hotel, unfortunately it was in just as bad a state, with used towels in the room.

Such a lovely place! Grounds are amazing, such a quiet and peaceful place. Great for taking long walks. As for the place itself, I’d rate it as good. Buildings are a bit dated but reasonably clean. You need to have a healthy budget for the meals if it’s not full board. Staff were very helpful.

Beautiful place with stunning views.. Our room was basic but clean. Would have l9ked a fridge in the room. The pool area is in need of a bit of an update but was enjoyable all the same. The restaurant food was delicious! As was breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
