As most people have said, there is a lot of good and some significant bad with this resort. The good - Views are incredible, its a gorgeous location right on the ocean. Pools are lovely and spread throughout the property. The rooms are very nicely set up and beds are comfortable. Our room had coffee machine, a microwave and fridge which was nice. The gas station that's a 5 min walk down the road is very convenient for affordable breakfast and snacks. The bad - The service is just unacceptable for what you pay. You can't get your own ice, you have to call but none of the phones worked while we were there. The shuttle "wasn't running" during our 2 days but someone showed up the second day after we stressed about getting to the beach. We signed up for yoga a week in advance, got our mats in the morning, and nobody ever showed up. The front desk's reaction? "oh that's crazy" And then of course there is "the beach" that many have said, is non-existent. We were told its tidal, its not, there's no way to even get down to any sand. A local told us that a summer hurricane pushed the beach back but it should return. That's fine and understandable, but just BE UP FRONT ABOUT IT. Sadly I wouldn't come back here, even though I loved Bermuda. It has so much potential but the staffing/lack of concern for promised amenities left a bad impression.

Room was nice. However, they do not make good on their promises. Told free shuttles to/from hotel with our package...NOT. Told free bus tokens to explore the island...NOT. Also, they did not have a sense of urgency to fix one of the pools and the bartender at one pool never showed. Many of the extras one would expect at an expensive hotel were missing. Bring plenty of cash for taxis as the hotel does not have easy access to beaches. The restaurant is FANTASTIC. Food was superb but over-priced. Don't stay here but have a terrific dinner here.

The staff was very pleasant and professional. The suite was perfect for a relaxing weekend. The food at the restaurant is expertly done. The view of the coast is breathtaking but unfortunately the beach is no longer accessible. There is an ocean water pool where the surf will crash up over a bit that is like being in the waves without having to contend with the rocks. There is live music on the weekends that was very good. I would highly recommend this resort.

We chose the Azura for our first trip to Bermuda based on the location on the famous south beach, website pictures showing a beautiful hotel beach, and high trip advisor ratings. However, there was really no beach availability at any time due to erosion and natural changes, with the waves crashing against the rocks all the time, having nothing to do with high tide as the hotel receptionist claimed. This was false advertising so beach lovers beware! However the view was stunning, the pool delightful, the food delectable and the staff helpful.

Best place we've been to during our stay. Atmosphere was brilliant as was food. It was Saturday night with live music. What a treat. Staff were amazing and so friendly we booked again while we were there. The sea view and being outside added to the experience.

This hotel has 5 star potential. 5 stars means it is perfect and could not get any better. First, the grounds are beautiful. One if the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The oceanfront rooms are fantastic. They are spacious and the view from room 221 is spectacular. The bathrooms are large and set up great. The saltwater pool is practically in the ocean and is utterly fantastic. I’ve never seen anything like it in all my travels. It is absolutely one of a kind and incredible. The pool area could be better if they had a nicer bar. Right now it’s basically a girl with a cooler of beer and water. The staircase to get from the pool to beach needs two more steps. You basically have to climb up on your hands and knees to get back up to the pool from the beach. To get to the pool from the hotel the steps are a little strenuous and you need to be in pretty good shape to navigate them. But that is just they lay of the land and nothing that can be done. I’m just mentioning that for if you are older or injured. The hotel is very clean and the staff is top notch. Every single staff member was extremely nice, friendly and helpful. This was one of the best staffs in any hotel I’ve ever been. I enjoyed talking to them every chance I got. The location is perfect. 10 minutes from Hamilton which is the best downtown of any Caribbean island you will go too. Loads of bars and restaurants and shops. We absolutely loved this condo style hotel. But a few things could be better. The bed is good, not great. The pillows should have at least one feathery down like pillow and not all be just hard. It would be great to have a microwave in the room to reheat food you bring back to the hotel. But otherwise the room was great. The restaurant is very expensive and the food was barely ok but should have been great considering the price. Mussels were not good at all. Very very small and way over cooked. They were smaller than a pinky nail. The cioppino was so over cooked everything was just hard. The lamb chops were very tough and not tender. These things should never happen at a fine restuatant that is this expensive. We only ate there the first day and it cost about $600 for lunch and dinner and a few drinks. You expect perfection at those prices. Sam the server was fantastic though. Very attentive and pleasant. I enjoyed speaking with him about Indian food. If the food was great I don’t mind paying but it wasn’t even close. But like I said, I absolutely love this hotel and will definitely be back. But I will be eating in Hamilton and not at the hotel unless it gets better. This was one of our three top favorite rooms and hotels we have ever stayed in. We travel the world and this room, the views, the pools and the staff were fantastic

Given the $900 per night room rate, I expected five-star amenities. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist. Azure is a new property, and the rooms are very nice. We stayed in the Junior Suite. However, it would have been convenient to have a half bathroom or at least a full-length mirror on the lower level to avoid a hike upstairs. The ocean views are stunning, and the restaurant food is excellent, though it is considerably more expensive than dining options in Hamilton. One downside is the numerous steps leading to the ocean area and saltwater pool. However, the view is breathtaking once you reach it. We visited during a busy holiday season, and it seemed the pool areas were not equipped to handle the crowds. Finding a chair became a challenge, and at one point, another guest moved my belongings from a chair I had saved. There was no staff around to monitor this. To enhance the experience, it might be helpful to offer rides to and from the pool area. The gym equipment is nice but requires maintenance, particularly the cable machine.

Overall great stay and vacation........can be a tough walk down and especially back up to the beach but good workout and beautiful. During high tide you can't walk on the beach and can be a little strong with waves but always available with how it is set up. The oceanfront pool is a great option with natural ocean water and stairs accessible on the opposite side. We would stay here again and the team there is awesome and trys really hard to meet expectations. A few issues for the price point like 2 requests to replace coffee machine which was not working and extra toilet paper. The views are stunning and on site pool deck restaurant was delicious.
