Baymont by Wyndham Warrenton

Stayed here for a night with my wife. Overall satisfied, but barely, as this hotel is in the process of being refreshed, or so we imagine. On the plus side, the room was spacious and the bathroom clean and bright. The bed and pillow were comfortable, and the heating/cooling unit functioned well. Front desk service was authentically cheerful. On the downside, we wish the room had carpet. Yes, laminate presents a clean look, but it also made the room feel cold; cobwebs in the corner multiplied that feeling. Also, because the walls are paper thin, we heard more than anyone would want to hear from the adjacent room at night, if you know what I mean. Ask for a room with vacancies on either side, if available. A hot breakfast is served, but boiled eggs would have been preferable to the tasteless powdered eggs. Fresh fruit was also scant.

This may have been the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Front desk counter top is splintered plywood, security doors do not work, room had rugs removed for some unknown reason, curly hairs in the shower, greasy swirls on the coffee table. Should I go on…?

Poorly maintained exterior and interior. Our tub had brown stains and a dripping faucet that could not be turned off. Staff was very nice. Affordable. Bed was fairly comfortable. Facility is in need of a facelift and brought up to standards for a Baymont by Wyndham. Breakfast was powdered eggs and limited choices. Compared to similarly priced hotels, this was disappointing. Not the fault of staff - this is a management/ownership issue, clearly!

We woke up to find ants everywhere and ruined some of our food, there were literally hundreds of ants!

Not as Good as it Could Be The staff was helpful and welcoming. however what at one time was a good hotel, has not been taken care of well When we first arrived we noticed the exterior needed repair and landscaping Other interior areas also needed repair

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE REVIEWS BEFORE STAYING DON’T BE LIKE ME AND BE FOOLED BY THE FIRST PHOTO!! Granted that is how the room looks that photo had to be taken 10-20 years ago. That places needs a complete remodel.. it’s filthy the rooms have bugs all over the place, the ceiling has water stains, the showers clog, there’s garbage in between the conjoining room doors, the bedding and pillows have stains on them, the phones in the rooms look like someone threw up on them, the floors were stained and dirty, it smelled like a sewer pipe busted in the main hallway and it smelled horrible which attracted all sorts of different bugs (separate from the bugs that were already in the rooms) at the front desk the woman who had just started working there only a week or 2 ago was the only help we could find, the man that apparently has more experience was just not suitable for the job, the main lobby bathroom was filthy it looked like someone had just shaved their body all over the sink and floor.
