The big takeaway (despite, unfortunately, our best efforts) was that our villas had bed bugs. While this can happen anywhere, it was not particularly surprising given the overall lack of cleanliness that we encountered when we arrived. We'd been here previously and had a decent if not stellar experience. This time was much worse. Many things were dirty and there was a lot in disrepair (which is really unfortunate considering that, with a little bit of money, this place could be a really solid stay). The biggest issue, of course, was the bed bugs, something we are still waiting for the resort to address. In short the service is bad and the cleanliness is worse. I cannot recommend highly enough that you find another place to stay.

This place is disgusting!! Back toilets in the water park were heaping full of feces. No toilet paper!! Very dirty environment. Food options are terrible. Bring ur own food. This place needs to be shut down.

DO NOT give this business your money. TERRIBLE in so many ways…. We have been going to this resort with family for the last 10 years and this will be the last time we ever go there. The water park area is dilapidated and there are about 10 tubes for the lazy river in the entire place. We were told that they cannot blow up anymore tubes from the pile of deflated ones. Cleanliness of the pool area and restrooms were sub par. I observed piles of random crap (hairnet/bandage/hair/trash in the corners by the pool inside. No toilet paper in the bathrooms in the back of pool area. There are MANY broken and nonfunctional things all around the entire place. No food options on site even though they advertised there was. We were told that staffing was an issue but there was a new owner now so it was getting better. I’m not sure that is the case. We observed two different life guards in the water park full on sleeping while working. I wish I would have had my phone to take pictures of this. I was appalled. I cannot believe this place can operate the way that they do with no accountability. We also found out that we were over charged for our one day waterpark passes and they refused to refund our $60. Front desk manager clearly deals with people complaining because she did not care at all. Basically told me it was not her problem. I am reporting this place to the Bureau of consumer protection for Wisconsin as well. Go another 60 miles down the road and go to Wisconsin Dells to save yourself some major frustration.

We stayed in a cabin which was beautiful, but back when we booked in January, they didn't tell you the water park isn't open every day. We found out the day they gave lifeguards off was on Tuesdays. Which was the day we went. So no water park.Then the arcade would not accept our money for playing games, which room was in 90 degrees. Our cabin was set at 69 degrees and we couldn't change it. Plus wires were exposed from thermostat. In the porch in back, there were lose boards in a few spots. We moved the boards and saw they were covering large holes. Not hammered down. Plus front steps sounded like they were gonna give in. 2 of 3 showers in house only gave off cold water. Also the day they gave lifeguards off was also the day the resturant was closed there as well. We called 3 bears two weeks prior and we asked about wrist bands for waterpark and no one informed us then about nothing being open. Walked by resturant area and staff left old pizza from day before still spinning on a rack for sale. Hopefully they threw it out when they opened. We understand people need off, but inform us before the 14 days where we can get our money back. Also they had 2 tvs. 1 worked with very few channels and other didn't work at all. We were so excited to stay here. It's too bad.

We rented two villas (803/805) for a family get together of 13. Upon arriving, the rails to our entrance were broken and laying in the grass, the door handle was barely functional, there was clearly water damage that had just had paint thrown on it and there was black mold on the shower ceiling from the damage. The blinds were all complete broken, missing completely or missing slats. The villas were filthy, the dirtiest place I have ever seen. I don’t think the floors are ever mopped. Anyone who walked around barefoot had black soles, a towel used to wipe up water on the bathroom floor was black! We had stayed about 8 years prior and it is not the same. We will never go back. The air conditioner in unit 803 did not work and while the front desk staff was nice, I don’t know how this place can be open. There was trash under the beds and so much dust everywhere. Book elsewhere.

The water park was clean and the staff was very helpful during check in and check out .
The deepest part of the water in any area was I believe 4 ft so this is a great resort to stay at if you have smaller children . The hot tub was big and had a waterfall for decorative purposes.
My family went out to eat so we didn’t use the resort for food but did need silverware and was able to barrow some from the friendly bartender on the first floor. The bar was clean and quiet.
I was very satisfied with the customer service and up keep of the resort . Affordable and quality I will recommend 3 bears in the current state it is in to other family’s.

Tub clogged after calling on it no one came to fix.. pull out couch sheet was dirty no linens to put on bed or pillow.. water park closed at 1 PM…wave pool wasn’t on/working… supposed to stay two nights only stayed one.. no one offered a discount or money back and they even made us pay our $89 extra that my ******* account didn’t cover…

The air handler unit is very noisy. The road noise is loud when you turn off the air handler unit!
