Ich war ohne vorherige Buchung spontan in diesem Hotel gelandet. Man gab mir ein Zimmer und kassierte sofort für 3 Tage per Kreditkarte ein hübsches Sümmchen. Erst als bezahlt war, sagte mir die Dame am Empfang, dass es sich um eine Suite im Neubau handeln würde. Nachdem ich meinen Koffer durch mehrere Flure gerollt und über mehrere Treppen hoch getragen hatte, kam ich in eine mehr als geräumige Suite , mit dem Ausblick auf Hausdächer.Für eine einzelne Person mehr als ungemütlich. Ich rief sofort im Büro des Hotels an und bat um ein anderes Zimmer. Das gab es nicht und ich lehnte dankend ab. Da ich das Zimmer zur Besichtigung betreten hatte, fand die freundliche Dame, dass sie deshalb erst wieder reinigen müssten und ließ mich für einen ganzen Tag das Zimmer bezahlen. Gastfreundlichkeit wird in diesem Hotel manchmal sehr groß geschrieben. Fazit: Vor der Bezahlung immer erst die Zimmer besichtigen.

Ein sehr schönes zentral liegendes Hotel in diese ich sehr gerne wieder einchecken werde. Die Nummer der Zimmer sind etwas verwirrend, da dieses Hotel geschichtlich aus zwei Häusern besteht. Sie sind trotzdem sehr gut ausgeschildert

Wir waren bereits mehrfach in diesem tollen Hotel und kommen bestimmt bald wieder. Die ausgezeichnete Lage, der wunderschöne Blick auf den alten Strom, die kurze Entfernung zum Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie den vielen Restaurants. Hier fühlt man sich wohl 👍

Sehr persöhnlich geführtes Hotel, mit sehr freundlichem und sympathischem Personal.Ordentliche Zimmer, Ausstattung ist ausreichend, Sehr ruhig, trotz exponierter Lage direkt am alten Strom. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbufett mit Obst, Fisch, Würzfleisch Rührei und Speck, Müsli usw.....Vollkornbrötchen.. für jeden etwas dabei...

Im "Hotel Am Alten Strom" kann man sich einfach nur wohlfühlen. Das gesamte Personal ist super freundlich, das Frühstück lecker und vielseitig und das Haus hat einen ganz eigenen Charme. Die Lage ist nahezu perfekt: ein paar Meter zum Bahnhof, ein paar Meter zu den Geschäften, ein paar Meter zum Meer. Ich komme jedes Jahr wieder gern hierher!

Top Lage, Service,Personal, Restaurant, Rezeption rund Bar sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Zimmer sind 2 Sachen die mal überarbeitet werden müssen, handtuchhalter unter dem Waschbecken (rostig) und die Badezimmern. Kommen gerne wieder.
