We have stayed in many premier inns before, this is by far the most dated, tired and quite frankly-dirty. Check in was fine, we stayed in a family room which was small, we’ve stayed in double rooms twice the size of this before so quite surprised that a family room is this size. The the tv was pathetic, we’ve never seen such a small screen in any premier inn before so this was a massive disappointment. The radiator in the room was battered and smelt. We attempted to run a bath but unfortunately the water stank and was yellow. Good job we were only here for the one night. We wandered over to the restaurant for tea, staff were friendly, however as previous reviews have mentioned, a little unorganised. We waited quite a while for drinks, the meals themselves were tepid and very small portions. Again, quite disappointing. My son ordered pancakes for his dessert and you can imagine our (not so)shock when one tiny pancake cut up into 4 pieces arrived. Note that the menu states “pancakes” not “one pancake cut up into pieces”. We ordered a second round of drinks which took ages and was wrong. Overall, wouldn’t come back, cost us nearly £90 for the 4 of us and left still hungry.
