The Old Bell at Warminster

Had a great night stay, also had the Thai food which was excellent, would definitely stay again, free parking at the back of the hotel which was a bonus, lovely polite staff, every you needed supplied in the room, can’t fault it

The Old Bell was a delightful stay. They carried my bags up and down the stairs. Everything that was needed was in the room and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious!

A good 3 star hotel with nice standard of bedroom. Some furniture was a little old but generally very good room for a 3 star! Staff are all amazingly helpful and friendly! The food I had was a Thai Red curry which was fantastic and one of the best I’ve had! Car park is round the back and well enclosed / hidden from the street.

Really don't have anything negative to say about the Old Bell Inn. The reception was incredibly friendly and welcoming, letting me check in a couple hours early. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the bathroom clean and the plumbing worked. I would definitely stay here again. Note to those with mobility issues, however: some of the rooms are at the end of long narrow corridors with stairs going up and down. But I'm sure the staff would be more than happy to help with your luggage.

10/10 for the Staff!! The property is historic and sprawling but badly in need of some TLC, even just a lick of paint would help. The staff there are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them and they are friendly and welcoming. Saying that they are rushed off their feet due to understaffing. We ate there on the Friday as a table of 9 and everything was great (although they have a new chef and have changed the menu since we were last there and it wasn't as good - most of the starters were bought in stuff) We ate there again on the Sunday and there was only one guy in the kitchen, our main course was late (a couple arrived, ordered and had eaten their meal and left before ours arrived!) with the accompanying fries arriving after my husband had finished his meal. Lots of things not available on the menu; steak, lamb and fish had run out. Thai Cocktails and Tapas were advertised but had never been available. It was obvious staff were embarrassed to continually explain and apologise but they are being let down by the management who's focus is elsewhere unfortunately. Not sure if I would stay again which is unfortunate as we loved our last stay there 2 years ago. If we did go back it would only be because the staff made the stay so pleasant
