Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit geniale Lage. Der Service, Personal sowie das Frühstück waren perfekt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Terrasse gebucht. Leider ist die Terrasse eine Gemeinschafts Terrasse, so dass alle Gäste vor dem Fenster sitzen.

What a lovely hotel. Great good. The hot savoury after noon tea/scones were unreal. Great service (hospitality from Rosie was excellent) and great decor/cosy fire. Will be back for sure, didn't want to leave the cosy lounge room with the log fire!

Definitely one to re-visit
Delightful few days - charming setting and interesting building. Very comfortable and clean. Well placed for a relaxing break and exploring surroundings. Staff extremely courteous and helpful.

Great hotel & a gorgeous spot; beware the candles
This is a lovely hotel, in a beautiful location. Step outside and you have a wonderful view of Corfe Castle and, looking around, a pretty good idea of where those missing castle stones ended up. The room was comfortable and well-lit (always important). I found convenient power points, too.
My only problem concerned the number of candles distributed around the restaurant. The food was truly excellent, but I started to feel ill and I believe the candles were responsible. I may have an allergy to that kind of candle.

Nice stay
Nice location, very clean and comfortable beds. I found out that we paid 40 pounds per night more than our friends who booked directly with the hotel. The breakfast was good, but burned toast and salty hot cooked meal. We were not able to book a table for dinner as they were full.
A warm welcome greeting as you check in, can live in your imagination. No, “welcome to….”, “how was your journey here?”, “did you travel far to get here?”, “would you like a glass of water?”, “would you like a tour of the property?”….you greet them, fill up a form, are given a key and off you go.
