Hotels in Shenzhou Peninsula, Wanning

The hotel is beautifully situated with its own beach. The landscaping and grounds are picturesque as are the ocean views. I have previously stayed in big hotels in Sanya that involve long walks to the facilities and the beach. However, this hotel is really nicely sized. The lagoon pools and infinity pools were great, though I did wonder a bit about the cleanliness levels. I was initially concerned about reviews saying the place looked aged, but in person the rooms seemed fine, spacious and clean. The service was excellent on every level. They did not have a business center but they helped me out with some business needs. The breakfast was diverse and they made sure to keep the buffet filled up despite a large number of diners. All in all, it was a very refreshing and enjoyable stay. Note that taking a train from Sanya Airport to Wanning is not difficult and economical if the timing works well for your flights.

As first-time visitors to Wanning, we weren’t really sure which area would be the best for staying. However, we were pleasantly surprised by this location along the Shenzhou Peninsula. The surrounding area is quite nice, with a rocky shoreline not far away and a great beach area behind the hotel. Check-In went smoothly and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Shoutout to Paul Tang 唐亚超 for the excellent service. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a great balcony view of the garden and ocean. The buffet breakfast was great as well, with a variety of different cuisine options available. We especially enjoyed that they offered fresh fruit juice instead of the beverage type. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again the next time we are in Wanning!

The hotel is quite comfortable and clean. The merchant upgraded the room for free and also gave us travel photos. I stayed in the hotel on the first day and started a great trip. I will also introduce friends to come here. It is like planting grass. The room is directly connected to the lighthouse where I saw the Internet celebrity. I will also recommend to friends to continue coming. The lady at the front desk is also very polite and enthusiastic. Satisfied, I wish the store a prosperous business!

The apar**ent is very close to Shenzhou Bay, and it takes 10 minutes to walk to the beach. There are many delicious foods in the nearby town, and breakfast and dinner can be satisfied. There is a supermarket downstairs, and there is a parking lot downstairs, which is free and convenient for travel. The room is a sea view room with a wide view. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. There is an auntie to clean and replenish daily necessities every day, which is very considerate. The check-in and check-out procedures are convenient, and this stay experience is very good

I was originally struggling to decide between Grand Hyatt and Westin, but I finally chose Grand Hyatt and was not disappointed at all! It was a typhoon when we came, and because we brought our parents, the hotel upgraded us to a sea view suite, which was a perfect experience. Breakfast: There are many choices, both Chinese and Western food. We are noodle lovers, and we found that the noodles for breakfast every day are not even repeated. One type of noodles and the other are generally Hainan local rice noodles, both of which are very delicious. Foreign parents can also find Western food they like, and there is also fresh coconut water. The hotel has a total of 3 swimming pools (two outdoor and one indoor). During our visit, one outdoor swimming pool was under maintenance, so another infinity pool was opened for use. It was super beautiful and very photogenic. A small part of the indoor swimming pool is a shallow pool with a relatively warm water temperature, and there are saunas and wet steam rooms in the locker room, which is a perfect experience. It was the best experience of this trip to Hainan! Service: Before checking in, the butler (Guest Relations Director Marcia) added WeChat in advance to ask about the arrival time and whether an appointment for travel photography is needed. The whole process was very considerate. The hotel experience is really good. Not only did they upgrade the sea view suite, but they also arranged upstairs and downstairs for us and our parents, which is more convenient for small gatherings. The hotel rooms are almost all villas of different sizes. The one we stayed in should have a total of four rooms, and it faces the sea. You can see the sea by opening the balcony door. The waves were very big these two days, but it was not noisy at all when the door was closed. Hygiene: The hotel is very clean Facilities: It is very newly decorated and beautiful, and the lights in the bedroom are also very good and not dazzling. It is probably the best hotel in Wanning.

Wanning is really great for taking photos and has a lot of food to eat. This is a niche check-in spot that has not been over-developed. The places recommended by the B&B are all very good Riyue Bay, suitable for surfing Shimei Bay and Guanhai Pavilion are suitable for taking pictures The most beautiful road on the Wanning Shenzhou Peninsula (Sunset Bar) is only suitable for riding electric bikes. The recommended price is to leave at 5-6 o'clock. You can rent a car at the front desk, which is safe and guaranteed. A new scenic spot, the Sun Bridge is worth a visit and the scenery is amazing.

跟小姐妹去玩～民宿位置跟好找，店裡的員工也很熱情周到，房間空間非常大，格局也很舒服～～不想出門的時候在房間待着看電視也很chill～～距離海邊很近，走路騎小毛驢都很方便～周邊吃的也很多～～推薦推薦！另外不得不説萬寧的海真的很漂亮！沖浪很好玩！！一定要嘗試！！

The sea view room I booked in this apartment is very good value, much better than the Sheraton I stayed in on the first day! The sea view room we stayed in Sheraton was on the lower floor, and the main view was trees! This sea view room is on the upper floor of more than 20 floors! It is very comfortable to watch the sea! More than 200 is very cost-effective! The hygiene is also good! If we hadn't booked a hotel in Sanya and couldn't refund it later, we would have stayed here for a few more days!

Environment: The community is quiet, close to the place to eat, about one kilometer. Service: good service. Take the initiative to remind mosquitoes that there are many mosquitoes and send electric mosquito coils to the door. Hygienic: clean and comfortable. Facilities: Free parking, parking lot is very close to the hotel, and charging piles.

Location: Lovely location right by the ocean but a bit far from any fun spots. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Wanning 日月 beach where there's a lot more fun activities. Services: Great service. The front desk manager TT was lovely and could speak great English thus making communication go smoothly. Amenities: Good but could be better. I think some of the rooms were not used for a long time. The first room I got smelled a bit musty. Also, don't expect new facilities this place looks like it's been around for a long time and it shows. Still, it's charming in all it's rustic glory. I would say the only downside to my stay is that there was no shuttle to the train station. Which is kind of a letdown given that this is a high-end resort. ***If you're a person of colour, I recommend maybe try the two hotels not far from this place. Le Meridien and The Westin I think. I didn't spot any other foreigner during my two days at this hotel until I went to 日月 for a walk and ran into a few of them。It turns out most foreigners stay at the Westin or Le Meridien thus maybe it won't feel too isolating opting for these two hotels rather than this one. All in all, it's a nice hotel to stay if you're on a budget.👍🥂
