The Stables at Henham Park

Great place and lovely location. Very nice rooms and peaceful. Great breakfast in the mornings and lots of choice. Will definitely be back in the near future. Alan is a lovely man and Trudy an employee was very nice and helpful. Thankyou we really enjoyed our stay.

The b&b benefits from an amazing location and more space than anyone could ever expect in a room. The rates are favourable for the size of the rooms and breakfast cooked to order. Slightly hesitant to leave adverse feedback, the hosts take things personally, but these are for info/ ideas... The bathroom was weird, bigger than a b&b room on its own. Investment in a decent shower cubicle at floor level and reliable control system would help. The freestanding bath was great, let down by the pre installed towel to catch the drips from the mixer tap. Breakfast food was good, let down by the oddness caused because guests had not taken their prescribed seats. Just make some room labels as name plates. If there's friction in your service because the customer doesn't get it, do something to change. A sign in the bathroom about makeup dirtying towels is not the solution. A better laundry detergent is. This place has potential with small tweaks to the customer experience.

amazing accommodation in an outstanding setting, our room was warm comfortable and very well appointed, well stocked tea coffee and even fresh milk, how good is that. our hostess Angie met us on arrival she was lovely, very welcoming and knowledgable, made us feel very special The breakfast as advertised was exceptional and set us up for walking in the Suffolk countryside. Thoroughly recommend the Stables, just wish we could have stayed longer

This 3 night stay was arranged for my birthday. First impressions great, lovely place. Owner quite abrupt but welcoming enough. We were shown to the Southwold Suite which was lovely. During first couple of hrs room got colder, no heat in rads. Went to find owner who advised the heating had just come on again. We asked how warm the large breakfast room might be the next morning as didn’t fancy sitting in the cold to eat. The owner went into great lengths to tell us how thermostats worked on radiators, by now my husband and I were pretty fed up when challenged the owner stormed off telling us to leave in the morning and he would refund our deposit. We left straight away one birthday spoilt!!!! Also no longer allowed to walk on the estate despite being advertised as 100s of acres of romantic walks as a working farm which would have meant having to go out in our car which was not the plan.

Beautiful old building, rooms nice and had everything but so many cobwebs. Staff not very talkative

Very nice breakfast, huge room.Big downside was not being able to find property. I arrived in the dark but poor signage and zero lighting to identify.
