Lovely reception when we arrived. The room was clean, large, and well equipped. Shame it didn't have air conditioning although it does have a fan. Located a 10 minute walk to the center of Wanaka which is very beautiful.

The host was very helpful with planning our stay and visiting New zealand. Our room was well equipped only minor issue was weak shower and soft beds. Parking is very good with only short walk to our room. Would definitely book here again.

Dear travelers, be careful about this hotel! We encountered an extremely scary thing. When we took a shower on the day we checked in, we found that the shower head was already half broken. It even fell off halfway through the shower. We would like to declare that we were using the bathroom normally, considering that the shower head was already half broken. We thought it was normal wear and tear, but we immediately informed the front desk of the matter. The front desk acknowledged the situation and said that there was no replacement at the moment, so we could make do with it. We also told her that it was already broken, so how did we know to pick it up? When we came down to the hotel, after we left, they unreasonably deducted NZD 600 from us for shower repair costs through the credit card information we reserved! I was shocked when I received the email. The unreasonable points are: (1) We did not break the shower in the first place. It was used by someone before and it was almost broken. This is also the normal wear and tear of running a hotel. We did not damage it. Damage, it is unreasonable to charge the cost to the passengers (2) On the day of the incident, we reported it to a Chinese employee at the front desk. The front desk knew that we did not intentionally damage it and did not inform them that any fees would be charged. The hotel did not contact us without contacting us. Arbitrarily deduct fees (3) What shower head costs 600 Australian dollars? I went to the local hardware store to check them out, and they were all under 100 yuan. The hotel didn't answer the phone or reply to the email after charging my credit card without permission. The hotel gave us a room with a dilapidated bathroom, which is already dissatisfying. On the day of the incident, we reported this to a Chinese staff member at the front desk, who knew that we did not deliberately break it and did not inform us that there will be any charges. The hotel deducted the fee without contacting us first. 3. What kind of showerhead costs 600 AUD? I checked at a local hardware store and found all showerheads were under 100 AUD. They did not provide a receipt for the showerhead they supposedly purchased. It is believed that the showerhead they bought could not possibly cost that much, so they cannot provide us with a receipt as proof. After the hotel illegally charged my credit card, they stopped answering calls and emails. The fact that they provided us with a room that had a broken bathroom was already unsatisfactory, and now they are trying to stage an accident. Travelers, please be cautious! Don't be fooled!

It is located quite far from the city center and has poor accessibility. There were not many staff and the level of service was very disappointing.

A deposit of 300 was deducted without informing me, and I haven't received a refund so far. This is the only one on this trip, so don't choose this one if you can.

The room is spacious, has a kitchen and a balcony. The owner is kind. But you can check in during daytime. If you come late at night, you may have to call in advance.

The hotel is very close to the town. After checking in, I walked 5 kilometers according to other people's guide. I couldn't find the observation deck to see the glaciers. I looked around and couldn't find any trace of the snow-capped mountains. Maybe it was because it was spring!
