The location is very convenient, and there are delicious restaurants nearby. The room we were given was on the second floor, close to the road, which was inconvenient to carry luggage, and it was very noisy. I didn't sleep well at night, and the two pillows were too high. There were no cups in the room, and if you wanted to drink water, you had to go downstairs and open the door. They gave you a room outside the main building. I booked the hotel very early, and I don't know the logic of their room allocation.

First time booking a lodge-style accommodation. The room was pretty spacious with high-ceiling so it was very breathable despite not having an air-conditioner in the room. The trip was during January summer and it was still very comfortable. Walkable distance to the lake and everything.

The room was sunny, clean and tidy. There is a large public area on the first floor, with hot drinking water, coffee and tea available 24 hours a day for free, and the service is also very good.

Enjoyed a lovely stay at Te Wanaka during our stop over at Wanaka. Staff took the initiative to facilitate a late check-in when we arrived late from our travel over from Mt Cook. We loved that our room had a balcony, but shame that we couldn't open it at night due to all the river flies that get attracted to the light. Of note, the room does not have fan nor aircon, but wasn't too much of a hassle as it was rather cold during our stay here. Otherwise, the room was really comfortable and toilets were clean. Plenty of good food choices too that are just a short walk away from our accommodation! Great stay for anyone planning to stop over in Wanaka

Located on the main road of Wanaka, with petrol station around the corner and supermarket within 10 minutes walk. Although the room is a bit small, there are hooks behind doors and around the wardrobe. The only drawback is that there is no fridge inside the room.
