Rodeway Inn Walterboro I-95

The place wasn’t too bad, definitely needs an overhaul or some renovations. I did get a good nights sleep, the shower was not too bad, the Internet was not very good, kept getting disconnected on both my laptop and my smart phone. The location was good, just off the Interstate. The electrical outlet over the bedside table, my plug for my phone kept falling out, the sockets were incredibly loose for some reason. On a positive note, the parking spots out front, they were absolutely huge, never have to worry about getting your doors dinged by the car parked beside you. I’d probably stay there again, they just need to fix the Internet, and that electrical outlet was a bit concerning.

Well located off interstate 95. We found this hotel accidentally while filling up gas. Lots of parking. Parking well lighted. Nice friendly staff. Made us feel like home. Reasonably priced. Very clean remodeled rooms. Very comfortable beds.

I never stayed at a Rodeway Inn & I'm sure some are better than others, but not this one. We would only be there for a few hrs. since it was late & it was a stopover on our way to Florida. I already booked the reservation & could not cancel. When we checked into the room the bathroom door had a hole in it. There were people at the end of the parking lot & roaming around, that scared me a little. I asked for a different room closer to the office. The rooms were not bad, they were updated but the area & the loiterers brought the place down. The woman at the front desk was very nice but she should not be working there. If I were traveling alone, I probably would have left. I won't go back.

Booked this place through Priceline, and it said it was a clean decent hotel. NO it was not! The wonderful lady that checked us in was great, but the one room that was supposed to be non smoking smelled like smoke as soon as you turned on the ac, the floors made our feet black, the chairs were so dirty and stained you didn't dare sit on them, the room was clearly not cleaned at all other than the beds were made up and there were clean towels. Our other room, the outside door handle was almost broken off, again floors made our feet literally black! Fridge was broken, walls were all dented and beyond disgustingly dirty. The chairs were the same in this room as well! If it weren’t for clean sheets on the bed and the fact they did come and mop the floors, we would have left. But after being on the toad for 9hrs we were too tired to find another hotel! Now into the “other” guests and what happened that night! Above one of our rooms there was an extremely loud party that kept my elderly parents up all night, the front desk was called twice and didn’t do anything about it. There were shady characters loitering and seemed to be guests as well. We did not feel safe either and that made for a very long night! So dont stay at this hotel, the manager does not care that it was falling apart or that it wasn’t clean or the “other guests”! Also they did try to give me a nee room and when I looked at it, same dirtiness, and it looked like someone had kicked the bathroom door handle right off! I said no and stayed closer to my parents!
