Same as other Village Hotel with good service and facilities, and great to have free carpark and swimming pool sauna on weekend

Excellent hotel facilities and friendly staff.
Downside was uncomfortable bed settee for our 12 year old son, hard pillows, windows you couldn’t open fully and automated check in system.

Room was clean and shower had all the essentials. The addition of skysports in the bar is a great touch as allows one to socialise. Staff is ready to assist at all times and can not fault them. Great selection of food (halal options) which I enjoyed.

Stayed for 1 night with my young daughter to catch up with family locally. The room was filthy dirty stained carpets and bathroom, only 1 hand and one bath towel for both of us to share. Requested another via the 'help app' received no response or towel! Room service app not working, wouldn't let me select a location option so had no choice but to take a very tired child into the extremely rowdy bar. A group of Asian men were obviously enjoying themselves and keeping the bar staff busy which was fab although their very colourful language wasn't even though they could clearly see I had a child. Staff weren't bothered about their rowdiness as long as the till was opening. Food ordered a kids Mac&cheese what arrived was pasta covered in something white like soft cheese barely any taste, she had 2 mouthfuls and sent it away. Sorted the additional hour complimentary late check out with the lady on reception although when we got back to the room the key didn't work which was really worrying given It was now after the original check out time and I'd left our stuff in there. Had to go back to reception to sort that out. Mind you we were still interrupted by housekeeping wanting to clean. I should've told her about the filth. This is a totally different experience I had the previous month at the Dudley Village hotel which was faultless. I'll stay there in future.

Would 100% recommend this gym to friends and family, the equipment and facilities are of high quality and the staff working in the gym/pool are so helpful and nice, I can’t speak highly enough of the likes of Donna, Julie & Lindsay in particular!

I stay at a lot of village hotels and in general have frequented this hotel on multiple occasions. This has been my worse stay yet by far! I have no idea what event you had on, but it resembled more like an 18-30's holiday. I had lots of explaining to do for my son with all the colourful language and very inappropriate sexual behaviour by the guests. Lots of room swapping and people running down corridors resulted in a very poor quality nights sleep. Breakfast was awful quality too and it looked like a hurricane had ripped through the restaurant. The pool was great, but everything else is below standard. The hotel needs updating and renovating ASAP.
