Found this lovely place a week ago and promised my wife I would take her. So glad I did. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was chilled and relaxed. Cleanliness 10/10 Food 10/10 Staff 11/10! Thank you to all the management and staff. You can tell this establishment is ran by team players. Smooth running and smiley staff. Special thanks to Amelia and Ruby, you are amazing people ❤️. As for Nicole 🤔.... FUNNY, WITTY, CRAZY, and a delight to meet. It's not often that I meet somebody that matches my humour 🤣. Thank you for shouting at me and telling me off for moving the air con unit 🤣. It gave my wife a brief break from having to tell me off herself 🤣🤣🤣. We shall be back. This place is amazing 👏.

Great Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Food was really good quality, service was excellent and the price very reasonable. Place was packed with lots of families enjoying a Sunday lunch. Would recommend booking. Will certainly return.

As a geography teacher, I have a deep appreciation for thoughtful planning and harmonious integration with the surrounding environment. Unfortunately, my recent stay at The New Brighton Hotel was a masterclass in how not to approach such principles. The location itself seems confused—a disjointed patch of urban sprawl that pays no respect to the natural geography of the area. Situated in what can only be described as a logistical black hole, the hotel is neither conveniently accessible nor charmingly secluded. Instead, it occupies a spot that leaves one wondering, "Why here of all places?" Once inside, the layout defies logical navigation. Corridors wind aimlessly, creating a disorienting maze that would bewilder even the most seasoned cartographer. The lack of clear signage adds to the chaos, making the hotel feel like a challenge course rather than a place of relaxation. The outdoor space, which could have been an opportunity to embrace the local environment, is instead a mishmash of uninspired landscaping. It's as if the designers simply threw a few shrubs and patches of grass together without considering the ecological context or aesthetic appeal. Even the interior fails to provide any sense of geographical coherence. The decor clashes wildly, with no unifying theme or acknowledgment of the hotel's surroundings. The result is a disjointed experience that feels more like an afterthought than a well-considered design. While the staff tried their best to be accommodating, the overall experience left much to be desired. The New Brighton Hotel could benefit from a serious rethinking of its integration with both its local geography and guest expectations. In summary, The New Brighton Hotel is a reminder that good geography—and good planning—can make or break a hospitality experience. Unfortunately, in this case, it leans heavily toward the latter. As a geography enthusiast, I can't recommend this hotel to anyone who values thoughtfulness in design and location. Rushton Fox Geography Teacher and Disappointed Guest

I don't know how this 'hotel' has gained any of its good reviews. My experience was dreadful. The room was tiny, the noise from the bar went on for hours and was so loud I couldn't hear the TV. Was travelling alone and felt quite unsafe. There are nicer places to stay, save your time, money and energy and book them instead.

I stayed for just two night, first night i had a warm room which was clean and spacious. The bed however was a different matter, it's probably the worst mattress I've ever laid on, and I was brought up in the 70's when they were all bad. The springs actually left a patern on me. Night two, the room was freezing cold, heating wasn't on, and it didn't come on all evening. I suspect it was because it was Tuesday and the bar downstairs was open. I sat with my coat on until I got into that nasty bed and laid listening to the row downstairs. Though the owners cannot do much about the drunken, loud inconsiderate guests, banging and laughing back to their rooms, they can do something about the heating and very poor quality mattress. Sorry New Brighton Hotel, but that's my honest opinion and I certainly won't return.

A huge thankyou to Ray and Sue for the celebration of our dad’s life following his funeral in the bar and restaurant area. They went above and beyond - Ray even with his finishing touches writing the words HP with champagne glasses (my dad’s favourite sauce) to the outstanding food in the buffet they prepared. Everyone commented how amazing the food was. The venue was the perfect setting too. Thankyou so much again for what was such a special but hard day for us. You turned it into something quite magical for us.

2nd stay at this hotel....we actually got the same room as last time. Parking is available and free nearby. There is a lovely cafe straight accross the road as the hotel on serves breakfast on the weekend. The rooms are large and comforatble. Plenty of tea and coffee and shampoo and shower gel complementary. Iron ..ironinng board and hairdryer also included. Far better value AND cleanliness than the travlodge down the road. Would stay again
