We booked on last minute but everything was good. Perfect stay for an overnight. Good customer service.

I grew up in this area and was back for the first time in 20+ years. I chose to stay in the town I used to call home. I was sitting in my bed after shower at approximately 9pm when the door suddenly opened only stopped by the safety chain. A creepy looking man was staring in at me. I met no man when I checked in. I said what are you doing! And repeated over and over close the door I am naked. He just kept the door open staring in saying “you left the light on you need to leave”. After many request he shut the door. I opened the door while filming for my safety. He had disappeared. He came back and said we knocked. I said I heard this faint knock, but thought it was guests in another room. He literally said ok, but you have to go cause you let the bathroom light and fan on. I explained that left it on after a shower that steamed it up. He said I don’t care you need to leave or I call the police. He went away and then came back saying “I refund you find somewhere else to stay.” I called the police they said there was nothing they could do. Ladies take note, he can open your door and there is nothing the police can do. I left and he did not find my money. Think about this, the bathroom light cannot be seen from the front of the hotel, you cannot hear a ceiling fan if watching via security cameras. Without looking in you cannot know whether someone is using the bathroom. How did he know I was not using the bathroom without looking in through the window? DO NOT STAY HERE.

Convienant for a budget motel. Parking is a little cramped but that is the design of the motel

Cigarette smoke, noise, poor service & unclean
I shortened my stay due to poor service and conditions.
People smoked and chatted loudly outside the rooms, with the motel next to the road and cars parked right outside meaning you’re woken early by constant traffic noise. Construction workers also stay here, adding to the noise from 6 AM. I stayed in Room 12 and Room 8, where ants were in the room, and I woke up to a huntsman spider on the shower curtain.
On 6 April—the day daylight saving ended—I was knocked on my door before 9:15 AM and again at 9:55 AM for check-out, even though check-out is at 10 AM. The early knocks were unprofessional. When I returned my key, Tony the male owner, questioned me about leaving the exhaust fan on for 2 days. I used it for ventilation due to cigarette smoke and being micromanaged over this was ridiculous—especially at $120 per night.
Housekeeping was poor. Despite requesting service every other day, my towels weren’t replaced and only shampoo (not soap) was refilled. At check-ins, I rang the bell several times and waited 5 minutes, with Linda the female owner, offering no apology. They were usually in their house at the back, not at reception and I could hear the constant phone ringing unanswered from Room 8.
I was denied late check-out on 6 April, even though I had requested it at booking. I also asked for a tax invoice for my business trip, but they didn’t provide one.
The only positive was a bottle of wine on arrival. It doesn’t offset the noise, uncleanliness and terrible service.

Ants and spiders, noise, cigarette, poor service
On 6 April—the day daylight saving ended—I was knocked on my door before 9:15 AM and again at 9:55 AM for check‑out, even though check‑out is at 10 AM. Would not recommend at all!

We stayed here for 3 nights during the last week of our 6 week Aussie trip. We are geocachers so chose this motel to fit in with places we wanted to walk. It turned out to be the best decision of our trip. Check in was quick and friendly, and we didn't say no to the delicious bottle of wine. Parking was right next to our room and there were a couple of chairs outside that we particularly liked. The weather back in the UK was really awful so we wanted to spend as much time outside as possible before we returned. An old railway line has been turned into a cycle/pedestrian path with caches all the way along. We weren't there long enough to find them all so perhaps we need to come back one day. We were surprised that the room was serviced every day. The bin was emptied and biscuits and chocolates appeared daily. This isn't usual for a motel and was much appreciated. Thank you both so much for our visit.

Tony and Linda were great hosts and have clearly put a lot of effort into making this a comfortable place to stay. The outdoor kitchen and seating area is a real bonus. Small but functional rooms. Stable internet. Microwave, fridge, utensils etc. Everything you need for a few nights. We stayed 2 nights and the complimentary bottle of wine presented at check in was a nice surprise too. It's on the main road but quiet at night. Comfortable stay. Good quiet air con. Great location. Local shops close by.
