Travelodge by Wyndham Wall

The hotel was recently renovated a couple of years ago and we were pleasantly surprised by the modern, clean. and updated decor. The bed was very comfortable making the night very restful.

No one there when we showed up at the facility. Called and was told the person had to go home for a while. Told my situation with a sick partner. Waited on parking lot in over 100 degree temp for her return some 45 minutes after the call. Was told check in was at 3. We checked in 10 minutes earily. Not what I consider good customer service. Don’t know if this is even up to the basic standard of Wyndham promise to customers. Wasn’t a happy customer in the end.

The exterior is in shambles while the rooms are newly renovated. The beds are comfortable and window treatments are the sunshades and black out shades with the chain pulls on the sides and has new floor coverings. The location is a minute drive to Wall Drug or 5 min walk. Wall Drug is a must see tourist attraction. The hotel does not serve breakfast but gives you a card for the badlands saloon breakfast. Three choices for complimentary breakfast or you may order off the menu and another card for complimentary beer. From this location you can easily see Badlands National Park.

Don’t let the somewhat shabby exterior fool you. The rooms were remodeled in the last two years and were fabulous. The bed was comfortable, there was great lighting, and plenty of outlets for charging. The staff was friendly. The only downside was the internet was not working that night. We would definitely stay here again.

Quick stop over Plenty clean and we had no issues, it was exactly what we needed for a quick lay over then on to Sioux Falls our final destination.

Close to traveling highway. Pet friendly but no hot water for showers in the morning
