Best Western Lexington Inn

It's rare that a hotel stay is perfect, but this one came close. It was the best sleep I had in 5 nights of travel. The person checking me in was courteous and gave me the type of room I requested. I was happy to get one on the bottom floor. It was so convenient to drive right up to it and unload my luggage. The room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. For breakfast, they had a variety of drinks, three hot items, cereals and toast, etc., and the area was clean and quiet. The person setting up the breakfast was courteous and friendly. It is apparent that this hotel has a manager that really cares about customer satisfaction. With a great price and a very comfortable stay, I would definitely visit this hotel again.

Do not stay here!! One of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at, infested with stink bugs!! Went to reception to see if anything could done, but the reception staff were “aware” of the infestation but there was nothing they could do, completely rude and unhelpful. Besides the infestation, the rooms were dirty and we could not wait to leave the next morning!

For the money you are better off traveling further out of your way or there is a Holliday Inn Express near this property that is 100 percent better and worth the few dollars more (unfortunately the did not have vacancy for my stay). The arachnid infestation is astonishing and scary! The keys to the room have to be reprogrammed a few times per day because they stop working. The rooms have an odor like stale old smoke and moisture. The tub did not drain and the shower head put out a drizzle. The internet is spotty. The bedding had stains. Need I say more? I will say one thing positive, the staff at the front desk are so kind and do their best with what they are given.

The room was well appointed and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff is very friendly. I would definitely stay there again. The Best Western is situated in a great part of town right next to an Applebees. They serve breakfast each morning from 6:30 to 9:30.

We had been on the road for quite a few hours. We ride a motorcycle. We hadnt made any reservations anywhere. We chose this town because it was right off the highway and that made it easy. There were other motels down the road but we thought that a Best Western would be a decent place. We went in and the clerk gave us a price and said that we were in the newly remodeled room side. Ok that sounds pretty good. They had the please excuse our dust signs too. Understandable. Since our room was "new" we thought that wow this should be nice. Of course we were tired and hot. Im not sure how new everything was but I imagine that the carpet and beds/bedding were. they looked pretty new. No bad odors. Clean towels. When I ride I wear boots and white socks. I took my boots and socks off and thought wow that feels good. I walked from the bed to the bathroom and back. Something didnt feel quite right. I looked at my feet and they were filthy. If the beds had been even a tiny bit bad we would have left. I wetted a hand towel and stood on it and scooted across the tile floor several times. When I got done the towel was more than filthy. also the clerk at the desk was far from nice. I couldnt believe it. She must have had a horrible month because she sure acted like it. We stayed because by the time we got everythining in the room we were too tired to argue with Miss Congeniality. The next morning we packed and when I went to the front desk I told the new clerk about the room and she was able to take $25.00 off of my bill. I was quite surprised. She was nice and at least helped with the problem

This hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The breakfast was a nice buffet of typical Bestwestern items. Eggs, sausage, waffles etc. outside of hotel was dated but rooms were upgraded. I would stay here again. Well worth it the

This hotel is a throwback to older times - BUT it’s refurbished and is now a hidden gem. The service was more than we could have asked for. Our room was in the first floor of this 2-floor walk-up — and it was clean and well furnished. The redo of this property is a stand-out so don’t miss it!

As soon as I pulled on to the property, I'm thinking I had made a huge mistake! This is an old BW and all rooms are accessible from the outside. There is a sign saying that they are renovating, however, I didn't see anything that looked like renovation in progress. Going around to our room on the second floor (no elevator), you see structural damage on the 2nd floor. The rooms are outdated and not kept as clean as you would like. The door locks are outdated, reminding you of a style from the late 70s. The room doesn't exude safety or cleanliness. I went back to the desk and said, "We are not staying here." The desk lady was nice and I explained that the room wasn't as clean as it should be. I was told that my card would not be charged. We booked this room based off of reviews on Trip Advisor. Not sure how this hotel got the rating it got but it doesn't deserve it. Tax and room cost would have been just over $100.00. You get what you pay for.
