I had booked through trip.com, it didn't give me the option to let them know we had a dog. So originally booked a 2 queen bed and 1 pull out couch Suite. We got there and they said the suite wasnt pet friendly so we got downgraded and had to get a cot and the room was smaller obviously but the room actually costed more with the $40 pet fee than the the price of the suite.

Beware this hotel has gone downhill after new ownership. We have been using this hotel for 20+ years for a family reunion and it was always nice. This year was totally different though. Prices went way up $380 for 1 night. We checked into our room and I noticed crumbs on the office chair which I get it things get missed. After a while we found the end tables were dirty, old food in the fridge, the TV was broken, and the shower was full of hair. We also tried the pool with our boys that night and it was clearly not heated and they had the door propped open to the outside so there were bugs in the pool. I went to the front desk in the morning to ask for compensation and they said we would get some sort of refund in 5-10 days. After 10 days no refund so I called and was told it can take up to 15 days. After 15 days I called and was told our name was wrong and no refund was ever issued. It took about half a dozen calls and a month to finally get a measly $125 refunded. Needless to say we will not be staying here again and I caution anyone spending almost $400 at this hotel.

We had stayed at this location three years ago and it was great. This time it was not a good experience as the Inn had changed ownership and it was not well attended. There was a lit Christmas tree in the lobby. (This is July) There were three poinsetta's that had lost there leaves and only stems remained on the counter. And, a vase of dead roses that greeted us as we signed in. Why management displayed dead flowers and a lit Christmas tree is weird. The staff was unfriendly, our bathroom floor was unclean, my wife wore white socks and they turned black walking on the carpet in our room! Hanging plants on the patio were dying from lack of care. This place shows how a different experience can occur when new owners take over a once nice Inn. I noticed that reviews for this place were being done by the same person repeatedly. The term eco-friendly appeared in many reviews and appeared to be written by the same person or family. We learned to not trust reviews!

We have stayed at this inn for many years to bike. It's close to the getting on the trails and the beds are comfortable...hence the 2 stars. I believe there is new management and it has definitely gone downhill. We reserved a king whirlpool room and were told at checkin the whirlpool tub didn't work. We only got charged for regular king room. But also...Christmas decor in lobby (with 3 basically dead poinsettias displayed), another very dead bouquet of some kind of flowers, large hanging baskets outside...dead from lack of water. Over grown bushes and outside area not cleaned up. The hair dryer didn't work, towel rack fell off the wall twice, toilet paper holder broken. Breakfast tables were dirty from other people. Overall it was just a bad experience...we will not stay here again under this management....

The front desk person Jennifer was very friendly and accommodating. We had a little issue with are room and she quickly changed our room to another with a positive attitude. I would give her an A+ Always called me by name when we left or came back. Also ask about our dinning experiences as to where we went and if it was good.
