Dormy Inn Wakkanai

Japanese chain hotel, great hot springs, good breakfast with salmon roe, sashimi and other seafood, free ramen in the evening, very close to Wakkanai Station.

At the northernmost tip of Japan, I stayed in a very cost-effective hotel. I originally planned to stay for one night, but because of the supporting facilities, I was so impressed that I booked another night. 1️⃣ Free supper noodles, very delicious, you can eat from 9pm to 11pm. Unlimited 2️⃣ The outdoor hot spring has a great atmosphere. The scenery is super beautiful during the day. It’s a bit cold outside at night, but very comfortable 3️⃣ Ice cream🍦 is free to eat, this is a big plus. It costs more than 1,000 yen to buy a few ice creams at the convenience store, and the hotel tastes very good. After soaking in the hot spring, come and have two, it’s a good time 4️⃣ Coffee is free to drink 24 hours a day, and there are many comic books to read, these two are too much 5️⃣ Go out and you will see the Roman column breakwater. It’s so comfortable to walk around in the morning 6️⃣ The breakfast is delicious, and there is a free parking lot nearby The whole family is very satisfied. The hotel is cheap, the room is not too big, but the cost-effectiveness is too high, and the sea view outside the window is beautiful, so it is still highly recommended

稚内空港から近く、歩いて5分ほどで着きます。 21時30分から23時までは、ラーメンの提供もあり、量も丁度よいです。 また、朝食はそれぞれのクオリティは普通ですが、名産のタコや、イクラなど海産物が楽しめる点はよかったです。 3月終盤でしたが、雪が降っており、とてもさむかったです。

I love this hotel so much! Not only is it very close to JR Wakkanai Station, it also provides free washing machines (including detergent), and the room is very spacious, with a sliding door that separates the bedroom from the toilet and shower room. There are hot springs to enjoy on the top floor, as well as unlimited popsicles and ice cream and a whole wall of comics. Microwave ovens are also provided, so it is convenient to buy some fried food from the supermarket and heat it up as a meal or midnight snack. Free ramen is available on the first floor between 9:30-10:45 pm. It's a big bowl and tastes good. There is also an ice machine, so you don't have to worry about drinking beer during your stay in the summer. The ferry terminal is also within walking distance, making it very convenient to take a boat to Rishiri or Rebun Island. The only drawback is that the English at the counter is not good enough, but this is a common problem in almost all of Japan.

10층에 있는 온천사우나시설 잘 이용했습니다. 카페같은 분위기에 특히 야외온천, 사우나시설 너무 좋았습니다. 3가지 종류의 아이스크림도 무료로 제공합니다. 타올은 방에 있는거 가져가야 됩니다. 1층에서는 무료커피도 제공합니다. 9시 30분이후에는 라면을 제공하는데 간장라면으로 깔끔하고 맛있어요. 정말 좋은 호텔입니다.
