All of the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly during my stay which added to the experience. The hotel is truly lovely and the setting is beautiful. The rooms are well appointed and the views from the rooms and bar were amazing but it’s the high level of customer service that makes me want to return and recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Wakefield.

GGuest UserExcellent hotel the staff were helpful and attentive. Very clean room with air conditioning which was needed as it was a very hot day, with tea making facilities and even biscuits as a kind gesture. Would recommend staying here and will no doubt book in again. Bar had a range of beers and a good selection of draughts as well as spirits available to choose from. There was ample parking round the back of the hotel. Just don't forget to put your vehicle registration at check in. All in all a good stay.

GGuest UserCan't fault the location, really handy Motorway links to Leeds just a short drive from Wakefield. Breakfast is really good, well cooked and readily replenished. However, tables were not being cleared, and there seemed to be no staff around to do it. The bedding and towels were clean, but the carpets needed a good shampoo, and the shower floor had hair on it.
