We had a wonderful stay! The hostage do a terrific job of making their guests feel welcome. The breakfasts are just delicious, the coffee is great, and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. We will be back this winter for ski season!

This is an excellent place to stay. Susanna and Brandon are superb at what they do. The inn is extremely clean, they help you to find things to do, best restaurants, the breakfast is top-notch - best we’ve ever had. They will accommodate any type of food, allergies. Lots of other food goodies in the rec room. Somehow they always are there to greet you at the door when you arrive and want to know how your day was. They’re more like family than inn keepers.

We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the Waitsfield and Warren Suite, so appreciated the privacy of our own section of the house. The beds were so comfy, and I loved that slippers were provided! The breakfast was excellent, and all day coffee, cookies and snacks was super convenient. There’s an amazing assortment of teas available too! Our daughter loved the playroom too. The hosts we so welcoming, available and were very helpful in sharing info about the area and providing recommendations for dinner and activities in the area. We are so happy we found Mad River Inn and hope to return!

The Inn is very welcoming with great accommodations. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were just amazing overall! I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Beautiful home with very friendly owners. Choice of a variety of breakfasts that were delicious. Location in the country side with a beautiful view of mountains. Easy walk to the Mad River. The owners were very helpful in suggesting what to do and see in the area. I recommend it highly for a wonderful stay in Waitsfield, Vermont.

We had a wonderful stay at the inn. This was our first time in Vermont and we came for a family wedding. The location was convenient and soooo beautiful looking out across the fields to the river. Susannah and Brandon were fantastic hosts. The breakfasts were top notch! The pancakes and waffles were to die for and the eggs with prosciutto and pesto were just as good. It's a fabulous family run inn and we'll definitely be back when we visit our niece.

What a great place! Brandon and Suzanne made our experience comfortable and personal. Our room was comfortable and the rest of the property was fun to explore. Breakfasts were made to order with fresh ingredients. Homemade cookies in the afternoon were a treat, along with a very large assortment of teas served in antique cups and saucers. Located near Waitsfield, a fun little village, and not far from Waterbury and Stowe.

I’ll be back.
The hosts were terrific. My bed was dreamy. Plenty of hot water in the shower with good pressure. Breakfast was different and fabulous every day. I had a wonderful 4 night stay.
