Wir hatten uns für dieses Camp entschieden, da und auf ausdrücklicher Nachfrage versichert wurde, dass eine Anreise mit normalen PKW, also ohne 4WD möglich ist, Auf der Homepage wurde die Check in Zeit ab 15.00 Uhr angegeben. Wir blieben um 15 Uhr bei der Anfahrt im Sand stecken. Eine Anreise ohne 4WD ist definitiv unmöglich. Wir riefen im Camp an, um Hilfe anzufordern. Es wurde uns vom Manager mitgeteilt, dass eine Anreise erst an 16.30 Uhr möglich ist wegen den heissen Temperaturen. Eine Hilfe unser Auto wieder aus dem Sand heraus zu ziehen, war nicht möglich und wir mussten auf eigene Faust Hilfe organisieren. Wir vereinbarten dann eine Abholung um 17.30 Uhr vom Meeting Point. Beim Einchecken wurde dann zusätzlich OMR 20,- eingefordert für den Fahrdienst. Eine D Klärung mit dem anwesenden Personal war nicht möglich und der Manager war nicht anwesend.

SAND DELIGHT CAMP – febbraio 2025 abbiamo trascorso un’indimenticabile notte tra le dune di sabbia in una posizione a basso impatto ambientale, nel deserto delle WAHIBA SANDS, nel piccolo paesino di Alwasil . per una notte il campo è stato tutto per noi , sola coppia ospite, wow. lo staff è molto affabile e gentilissimo, a partire dal responsabile sig Salallah e al caro Monir noi abbiamo scelto la soluzione tenda luxury , ricevuto un’ ottima cena a base di pietanze arabe e copiosa colazione , ci hanno offerto le diverse escursioni , bellissimo il giro sulle dune al tramonto, sedersi intorno al fuoco di notte, con Monir, a cercare di fotografare le stelle. Levataccia all’alba per risalire sulle dune opposte alla nostra tenda per vedere il risveglio del sole. Posto da sogno , consigliatissimo e ottimo lo staff

Molto caro rispetto alla concorrenza, il campo era a soli 2km dal centro abitato. In giordania ero stato nel deserto ed ero in un campo veramente nel deserto, e stata un altra esperienza. Mi aspettavo qualcosa di piu per 340 euro una notte purtroppo

We stay in 2 of the luxury tents (4 of us) and had an truly great time! We had a small 4x4 so drove to the camp. Tent was large, had a ceiling fan and also air con. Private toilet and shower. Staff were very friendly. Food we standard fare- but still ok. We did camel rides, dune bashing and night safari which was amazing!!! We would highly recommend this camp.

We have a great experience in sand delight camp . sand delight camp It is amazing to see from above because there are sand hills on both sides and sand delight camp in between. And the manager staff is amazing. I am very happy.

Very nice luxury camp. The owner was very gentil,nice and funny with his anecdotes, info about Oman and a lot of interesting curiosities of beduine life. Good food there is always tea, coffee and dates, of course! I met a very lovely people there. I will never forget my first experience sleeping in the desert. Thank you very much, I feel very happy. I recommend this upscale camp.

Wunderschönes Camp. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr sauber. Einfach wundervoll. Eine schöne Erfahrung die man machen muss. Wer noch nicht in der Wüste war muss dahin. Das essen war klasse. Das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Vielen Dank das wir da sein durften
