3-Star Hotels in Vung Tau

The rooms, are, a great size,, staff, facilities are all a pleasure, they have now changed the name to beach front. Hotel the views, are, second to none and the breakfast is, so good with such a variety of choices... Hard to beat. Grab yourself a hire motor cycle, to get around on.

I have stayed here one night last April. The city was just relaxed from the social distancing so there were not many customers staying here. We've got nice welcome and check-out process from the staffs. The lounge is quite hot because there is no air-conditioner there but the decor was good. The coffee shop on the Ground Floor was closed so there is no choice for buying a drink. The price of minibar items were not expensive so it's easier to choose. Room was clean, convenient with good bathroom but there is no view, no window (just get the light from the glass bricks). The rooms was quite noisy at night or late afternoon because some customers came back from there trips. Morning buffet was good, delicious with mostly Vietnamese style and some of Western. The buffet restaurant has nice decor too. Price was not cheap but acceptable. Need to hire a motorbike or driving to the beach nearby (around 10 mins) *Clean room, in the center of the city and near the beach, good breakfast buffet & nice staffs *Minus point: soundproof

When we arrived to this hotel we immediately noticed a weird stinky smell in every room - we had 4 rooms on 2 floors. Every room smelled as a stinky socks - that’s because there are molds everywhere on the walks in rooms or in bathrooms. Second thing, we payed for the most expensive rooms with sea views and extra large beds, when we came into the hotel, we got 2 rooms with extra large rooms, 1 room with 2 separated beds and 1 room with extra small bed - and that room was intended to be for 2 adults. The bed was 120cm wide. We were told at the reception, that they don’t have any rooms with extra large rooms left. So they offered us a Suite which had a slightly wider bed. So we decided to stay the night. A bad idea. We found even more molds in the bathroom, in the shower as well. Everything seemed dusty in the whole room. But then the biggest problems came. The mattress was so hard, that I felt like lying on a wooden plank, literally. Windows can’t be shut properly in every single room, so we had to fold the menu behind the closing handle, so the window could latch a bit better. So we got into our beds, finally. But then some very noisy guests in the hallways started to party. Literally they just thrown their booze on the ground together with a loudspeaker and that’s how they partied in the hallways. No words needed. Other than that, we could hear loud noises coming in from the street - you can hear every single people chatting on the street next to your hotel, every single motorbike, cars honking... like literally everything. And of course there was a party outside the hotel so we could hear even that. Like it wasn’t enough. Construction workers start to work on reconstruction of one building near the hotel soon every morning. So we got nice 30 minutes of sleep throughout the whole night. Love the vibe of this hotel, it’s got a great classic 70s/80s feel in the reception and dining areas with wooden panelling and pillars - we were upgraded to the Deluxe double room which had a floor to ceiling window overlooking the mountain. Nice new room with a great shower/bath. Handy location opposite the front beach. It’s just a quick walk from the high speed ferry. Nice buffet spread for breakfast included with eggs freshly cooked in front of you and the swimming pool is clean and long, imo the best in Vùng Tau. Grab a towel from the hut poolside. Friendly helpful staff servicing the rooms which are cleaned (beautifully) daily and the dining areas.

We found the only good thing about this hotel is that it had good comfortable rooms and beds. But there were many things that will turn us/guests off from ever staying at this hotel again. Firstly, the staff. Main gripe. Totally unfriendly and unwelcoming. My daughter accidentally broke a small bowl at the breakfast dining and the waitress stood there insisting that the broken bowl be paid for upfront even before my wife and accompanied guests started their breakfast, How unprofessional is that? The room we booked was 1.4million + VND I believe and she couldn't let it go and insisted we pay 30k VND for a lousy bowl. My daughter was 9 years old and there was a big crowd at breakfast. Plenty of guests entering the dining area after their romp at the beach. Floors were wet and slippery. The waitress had the gall to say we must pay or it will be taken out of her wages and what she earned was very little. To have the staff having to appeal to my wife like that speaks volumes of how badly incentivised the staff working there are. This hotel will not go far if this is the case. The room although was good, it had very very poor sound insulation. The noisy guests outside the corridors were certainly felt by the occupants of their guest rooms. My wife and other guests with her could not have a peaceful rest. Totally unacceptable. My wife visited the hotel in mid-October 2019. Really overpriced and poorly managed. Staff very badly trained at hospitality management. Avoid this hotel at all cost!

The hotel is very interesting, designer, straight from the mountain)) at the top there is a pool but not big, we had a room with a kitchen, very comfortable and spacious, but there is one caveat, the hotel is far from the center, if you are without a bike there is nothing to do here, even there is nothing nearby to eat. If you're on a bike, this is a great option in a quiet place.

The service attitude was not good, and there was no notice of the power outage early in the morning, which scared me to death.

I came on the occasion of the hotel's promotion, so the price is very affordable, suitable for traveling with family and friends. The hotel has many facilities and facilities that are satisfying for the whole family to play and explore together. The food at the restaurant is quite ok, it is the first Ma Lai restaurant in Vung Tau, eating delicious with my family. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.

The Noils Hotel is situated along a coast road in Vung Tau and the one thing going for this hotel is the view (If you stay in a sea view room) obviously with the current situation i.e. Covid, the Hotel was very quiet and Covid was the excuse given for not serving breakfast even though the room was booked with breakfast... the rooms are quite tired looking but functional... its okay for a short stay..the Nolis as a Pool on the roof..with a small bar, the staff were okay but not overly proactive.. maybe the Hotel should take this opportunity whilst it quiet to do some small upgrades, maintenance and freshen it up a bit!!

This hotel is almost empty all week except Saturday night, when it is almost full, due to local tourists from Saigon, who come here for weekend. So, in weekends it is pretty noisy, but ok. In other days -lovely silence. Also breakfasts: huge buffet on Sundays and a lot of people also, other days quiet personal breakfast (was a little bit difficult to order, cause kitchen personal barely speaks English, but after a little efforts they bring you big & delicious meal).
