This is a wonderful hotel in a fabulous location with the bonus of having not one but two Michelin starred restaurants on the premises, one of which (the extraordinarily imaginative vegetarian “I Tenerumi”) we tried and enjoyed enormously, despite it being very pricey. The view from all the hotel restaurants and the bar is absolutely amazing particularly at sunset and the predominantly youthful staff go out of their way to ensure that your stay here is unforgettable. The one suggestion I would make is that it could be made easier - and safer - to swim in the sea. There was not a bathing platform in position during our stay so the only access was by climbing down a rather precarious ladder straight into the sea. But anyway, we absolutely loved our 5-day stay.

Fantastic hotel. Fantastic location. Extremely limited menu if you don't eat fish. Two Michelin starred restaurants. Both offered tasting menus only at a cost of 200 Euros per diner. The vegetarian menu was too many courses (you would need a large appetite). The second restaurant had nine courses and the majority were fish. The third restaurant offered a varied menu of fish with one meat dish. Hence we ate in the restaurants one night only. If you are happy with the above criteria I am sure they are excellent! But it did not work for us.

Aperitivo al tramonto: veniamo serviti all’interno per un supposto rischio pioggia, insistiamo per stare all’aperto ma ci viene detto di no anche se altri clienti evidentemente più importanti sono comodamente seduti fuori. Siamo un gruppo di 12, i cocktail ci vengono serviti 4 alla volta quindi i primi devono aspettare all’incirca 20 minuti per poter iniziare a bere, 2 cocktail arrivavano quasi un’ora dopo. Come “finger food” vengono servite inizialmente 3 pizze margherite con 4 piattini, quindi anche in questo caso si mangia a rate. Poi arrivano delle specialità siciliane, discrete. L’atteggiamento dello staff è indisponente al limite della maleducazione, cercano di rimediare offrendoci un giro di cocktail che chiaramente vengono serviti a rate come evidentemente da tradizione della casa. Non mi soffermo sui 65 euro di costo a testa perché questo non è il problema, che è invece riconducibile ad un servizio degno della bocciofila sotto casa. Prima recensione su questa piattaforma in 57 anni di vita.

When I say this resort has lived rent free in my mind since our stay with them in July 2024, believe it! I joke with my friends about “Sicily shoulders” which are shoulders so relaxed they are so far from my ears. The 2 Michelin Star restaurants, the private beach, the Infinity pool, the sunset over the island - everything contributed to such a magical stay.
