Nature here is magic! ROOMS and services inadeguate.. This is no more an Fkk structure and they did not advise about it.. Also other guest were not aware.. Unacceptable!

Koversada, my childhood destination... The memories of that wonderful time have stayed with me my whole life and I always wanted to go back there again. Everyone talks about the old Koversada, when charm and nature were the main attractions. I miss those times... We used to catch seahorses in the sea, cat sharks and octopuses. Endless fish, crabs, spider crabs, etc. We went by boat into the fjord (which was still a military restricted area at the time) and crossed by boat to the other side into Roman Bay. There were only people with boats there, as it was otherwise closed off. We ate at the Countess's or took the simple option in the canteen and enjoyed camping... A paradise for us teenagers... Sure, the washrooms were dilapidated and everything wasn't so pretty, but that's just how it was. We weren't spoiled and satisfied with little. Yes, it's been so long since I first visited Koversada. Tito was still in power back then... My last vacation before my apprenticeship was in 1983... But when I read the reviews written here today and look at photos of Koversada or just aerial photos on Maps, I don't recognize the place. Sure, everything is subject to change, but do you really have to exaggerate like that.... No one can take away the memory of a wonderful place, but I can only refrain from a repeat vacation to Koversada. Oh, and I had to click on a travel period to write a review; I chose 2024.... Unfortunately, 1972 wasn't an option.......... :)

after almost 20 years that I was missing I noticed with disappointment that they have installed tent houses distorting the semi-wild place that it was. too many crying children who already in the morning do not let you rest but I cannot blame this on the campsite. I note a review of a couple who with tent and car paid 25 euros, I do not think it is possible as I paid more than 60 euros a day, I must admit that it is really expensive, the old management was cheaper in relation to the years gone by, a single person with a small tent and without a pitch cannot pay so much. excellent basic services (cleaning hot water) for the rest it is better to organize a coffee for 2.30 euros and a pizza for 12 do not seem appropriate to the context.

Koversada was one of the oldest FKK camps in Europe, and anyone who visited in the last coupe of years (as I did, and am glad I got those chances) would have immediately noticed how most of the campers seem to have been spending holidays there - for generations. With good reason, the nature is beautiful, the location itself fairly decent (I assume, most of the visitors were German), and there are not many naturist parks of this size around. This year, the owner, Maistra, has decided to turn most of the campsite into a regular textile camp, leaving only a smaller part for the naturists (I would also say, the least attractive part, although this is a bit of a personal preference. But the camp has a small island, very pretty and great for tents and just a day on the beach - this signature island is no longer available to the FKK visitors). From what I can read in the press releases, Maistra calculated they will gain more profit if they turn textile, and while in the short-run this may be true, I will be surprised if they ever manage to get as many stable, long returning guests as they had, and will undoubtedly lose with this decision. It is not just a cosmetic change, they have effectively decided to get rid of the previous guests, and kill the FKK brand this place was famous for over decades. I am happy I got to visit the Naturist Koversada while it was a naturist resort, but obviously will not be returning, and will make sure not to ever visit anything owned by the company that decided to shut down the Croatian oldest naturist park. What a sad, short-sighted decision...

Wer braucht so etwas? Ein echter Camper bestimmt nicht.
