Ein sehr altes Hotel, das aber einen besonderen Charme hat. Irgendwie fühlt man sich um viele Jahre zurückversetzt. Alte Möbel, Bilder und sonstige, wirklich schöne Ausstattungsgegenstände. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, aber eben auch mit alten Möbeln ausgestattet und man konnte wirklich gut schlafen. Am Tag waren in dem Aussenbereich viele Menschen unterwegs, das war dem Wasserfall geschuldet, der jetzt, im Rahmen der Touristeninitative des Landes, besser zu erreichen ist. Beonders viel Betrieb war, wenn in Eidfjord ein Kreuzfahrtschiff ankam. Am Abend jedoch kehrte Ruhe ein und es war möglich, ungestört de Wasserfall auf verschiedenen Wegen zu erkunden. Sollten wir wieder in die Gegend von Norwegen kommen, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder das Fossli-Hotel aufsuchen.

Charmamtes Hotel mit sehr netten Mitarbeitenden. Wir sind mit unserem kleinen Hund gereist und durften den Hund sogar zum Abendessen mitnehmen. Auf dem Menü gibt es auch ein vegetarisches Gericht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die antike Atmosphäre ist großartig. Klasse Ausblick. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen!

Fantastisk beliggenhed lige oven for Vøringsfossen. Fantastisk udsigt. Hyggeligt hotel med charme. Desværre var vinduer i værelset utætte, da de var lidt defekte og kunne ikke lukkes helt.

Weekend in the Fjords
The hotel is located on the hillside with a view of the fantastic waterfalls. Very easy access to longer hiking trips located from the hotel.
The double room was super fresh but it would have been very nice to have a kettle in the room. A floor scraper in the shower for water as it runs out on the floor.
The breakfast is a classic Nordic breakfast that absolutely went a long way, but would have been good with some type of scrambled eggs/bacon and some more fruit. Otherwise very fresh.
The hotell should win by having a bar so the hotel guests can enjoy 1 or 2 beers after a long hiking day and have a view on the Panorama over the waterfalls at evening
Overall very cozy old hotel with its own charm, Super nice staff, and caffé where you can have lunch and a souvenrr shop next to the hotel.

Very nice experience
Very attentive staff. The hotel has character, old building, old rooms, nice history behind. Nice dinner at the restaurant. Well cleaned rooms.
The breakfast was more basic without warm food, but enough.

Greit men ikke koselig innredning i fellesarealene
Alt var i orden for så vidt. Et minus er fellesarealene som er lite fristende å oppholde seg. Greit for en overnatting, besøke fossen og reise videre.
