We had an amazing Customer Experience at Hotel Liro. What is the difference? Customer Service versus Customer Experience As a business owner you must understand the difference between Customer Experience and Customer Service. Customer Service is reactionary. It is what you need to spend money on because your customers have a problem or they are unhappy. And it’s the customers who aren’t happy who will utilise most of that resource through complaints etc. Customer experience is proactive. It’s about understanding what their journey and experience of interacting with you is like. The closer you get to creating an optimal customer experience, the less you’ll need to spend on traditional customer service. Right from checking in to our room with a balcony that had the most amazing view. The room itself is just beautiful and so well set out. The only small gripe was at dinner. There was a little bit too long a wait between courses, which means we left before dessert or coffee was offered. This was a loss of income, as we would have had coffee and dessert if offered in a timely manner. Thank you to Ofredi our wonderful front of staff. You are a gem my friend, and i enjoyed speaking and talking with you.

I recently visited this restaurant with my family, expecting to enjoy the beautiful sunset view and a nice meal. However, the experience turned out to be incredibly disappointing. When we entered, we noticed the chef casually holding a cigarette near the bar area, which was extremely off-putting and unprofessional. We had to seat ourselves as no staff was available to assist us, and despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we waited a staggering 20 minutes for someone to bring us a menu. During this time, no waiter approached us, and the service was nonexistent. Frustrated, we decided to leave. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the staff, they showed no concern whatsoever. This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place. The view may be beautiful, but the service is absolutely terrible. I will not be returning.
